 It's time to plan your day at the Good Food Festival during the FamilyFarmed EXPO on Saturday, March 19th. Saturday features cooking demos from celebrity chefs, educational workshops including the three-hour Nourishing Traditions workshop by Sally Fallon, the interactive Kids Corner, Good Food Court, and the bookstore! Also, enjoy 150 Good Food exhibitors, including farmers and food artisans, who will be offering a wide selection of local food, gifts, Community Supported Agriculture memberships, and lots of useful information to help you eat locally and healthy year-round.  Sally Fallon's bestselling and thought-provoking book, Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats, helped launch the paradigm shift in America towards nutrient dense foods. Fallon was an early proponent of whole animal consumption, raw milk, fermented foods, local, and organic food. This 3-hour workshop kicks off the Good Food Festival at 9 am. |

Farmer John of the award-winning documentary, The Real Dirt on Farmer John, returns to Chicago and the EXPO! John Peterson will share his experience as a vegetable grower and Community Supported Agriculture pioneer, cookbook author, and filmmaker. He will join panelists discussing "Please Your Palate and Your Purse" and will do a book and film signing afterwards. John is also speaking at the "Farm Success Stories" workshop at the Financing Farm to Fork Conference on Thursday March 17. |

Please note we are extending FREE ADMISSION for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult (Saturday only).
