WRPA LEGISLATIVE Report - Week 9

As we hunker down for gloomy budget news (NOTE: the actual budgets themselves probably will be released the week of March 21), we can look back at Week 9 and know it was a good one for WRPA. We set up our March 16 series of meetings; had a good hearing on the "Complete Streets" legislation; helped pass a very good public records protection bill off the Senate Floor; and made some inroads on amending a grants-and-loan-programs bill that had been of concern to us (SB 5825).  More

To officially join our legislative committee, email britk@wrpatoday.org and you will be included in our legislative email distribution list and notified of legislative meetings and more.
