Current Affirmation
I am now unfolding
To my highest potential
Fear so what,
Discomfort so what,
Disappointment so what,
I'll do it anyway
I know what I want
I am willing to say it
I am determined to live it
It is done, it is done.
And so it is! |

Greetings!
While in LA this past month, I spent some time at the Agape Spiritual Center and listened to many of the teachings of its founder, Reverend Michael Beckwith. I was inspired by so much of what he said, and one thing really struck home: "If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space."
So often we have a dream or a desire to accomplish something, to do something, or to create something, but we get stopped in our tracks because we are paralyzed by the fear of failure or fear of discomfort. Instead of facing that fear, or going through the discomfort, we give up on our dream More...

Giving the Gift
Leader Spotlight
This month's Leader, Dyan Tsiumis broke new ground and takes on exciting new challenges everyday:

I had my big "Ah Ha" moment last summer when I spent the day volunteering at the Fresh Air Fund Camp teaching intenSati to hundreds of NYC teens. A few months later, I left my corporate job to follow my dream of helping children find health and happiness through intenSati.
My volunteer efforts began by teaching intenSati with Energy Up!, a non-profit program which is a health and wellness program focused on helping inner city school girls to get moving, healthy and energized. The pure joy these girls get from the practice is inspiring. The program is a huge success, there is even a wait list for additional schools to join. Shortly after my experience with Energy Up!, an opportunity to teach intenSati at the Odyssey House surfaced. The Odyssey House is a comprehensive treatment center in the Bronx that helps teen girls deal with substance abuse. Each day is a tall challenge but week by week, my group is beginning to learn that it is possible to dream big and create a life you love. By sharing the intenSati practice with these girls I know I am giving them more than a healthful activity. I am sharing the gift of seeing ourselves in a positive way. I never would have imagined how much these teen girls have taught me. I am so grateful. They are beautiful young women. Dyan Tsiumis, NYC
Dyan is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor in NYC and heads up our intenSati Leader Training Program. She is currently a student of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is on her way to becoming a certified Holistic Health Counselor. For more info contact dyan@getfiercetraining.com.

Grateful to Receive Warrior Inspiration
We shine our spotlight on Roach who takes Dee Sweet-Slade's community class in LA.
It has been amazing how the tools and teachers came to me just at the right time in my life. In November of 2008, at 50 years of age, I had been beat up spiritually by the loss of loved ones and mentally by financial struggle. I found myself thinking I had no reason to believe that the future would be better.
The opportunity to work with Dee and learn IntenSati coincided with my discovery of "The Secret", the Laws of Attraction and Wallace D. Wattles' book, The Science of Getting Rich. Talk about a big bang! My mind exploded and my heart opened wider than ever.
Dee's energy and spirit propped me up and I began to get excited about the possibilities and the future. Her choice of words in class strengthened my faith and resolve to embrace the abundance and blessings available to all of us who choose to receive them.
Now, at 51 years old. I have never been so grateful, so centered, so strong and so at peace with myself. I am incredibly excited about my life. I feel like I am better than ever before. My list of blessings just gets longer every day. Roach, Los Angeles, CA
Roach is honored to be the lead singer of Cafe R&B (along with her husband of 23 years, Wylliam "Byl" Caruthers) and is the proud mama to Jazz William (8). Check out the band's website www.caferandb.com and on Facebook. |
I am Now Unfolding
Editor's Note
As a certified personal trainer I've had the joy and benefit of watching my clients challenge themselves in ways they never thought possible. Just this past month, I celebrated 200 sessions with one of my clients. For over two years, I have seen her transform from a absolute novice exerciser into a fierce warrior, and at 60, unafraid of any challenge I throw her way.
The first time we met, she surprised herself and told me her goal was to feel confident, strong, and fit enough to take a dance class. And now, two years later, we have lifted, curled, lunged, and intenSatied our way to success - and last month, she took her first dance class in 30 years!
I mention this story for two simple reasons - sure my client had fears when she first joined the gym, but by breaking new ground and facing her fears with unwavering determination and commitment, she changed her body and her life. And she also changed my life. By being committed to her success and helping her reach her dream, my own potential unfolded in great and unexpected ways.
With your hands over your heart, say the affirmation out loud, "I now unfold to my highest potential." Repeat it until there is a clear picture of exactly what it is you want to do. Pay close attention to the many gifts you have to offer the world and let your full potential unfold before your eyes.
We'd love to hear your stories of transformation and breaking new ground, send them to kat@satilife.com.
Wi th gratitude, Katherine Adamenko Editor-in-Chief kat@satilife.com
