Hey Mon!

Kisses to you, MMMWWWAAAAHHH!! I am missing YOU. It has been a long time since we last spoke. I mean too long. We can't do this again. Whu happening, Star?

God is so faithful, today I am singing "I give myself away."

Are you waiting on the promises of God to be fulfilled? Well, Numbers 23:19 says, "God is not a man, that God should lie, Nor a son of man, that God should repent; Has God said it, and will God not do it? Or has God spoken, and will God not make it good? When God makes a promise, God keeps it.

"I am God and I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you." Listed below you will find a recap of my trip to Jamaica and the devastating impact of Global Racism.

Family, you have to experience Jamaica. OMG! I drove through the hills of Jamaica singing "Jesus Is My Daddy O," with my fake Jamaican accent and bouncing up and down in the seat. I will upload the song for you; it's off the hook. It says, "I command my hands and feet to praise the Lord, He is my provida." Y'all want to know who takes care of me? "Jesus is my Daddy-oh!"

After visiting so many beautiful hotels in Jamaica, a decision has been made on where "Dancing Preachers International" (DPI) will be held August 3-7, 2011. Drum roll please, we are staying at the UMMMM, OK you can read about it in Article 3. LOL, just kidding, you know I like to have fun. There is so much information; the details are posted below in Article 3.

The Dancing Preachers International staff is so elated about traveling to Montego Bay; we want to celebrate this good news with you. We are offering low registration rates for ONLY $130 starting on today and ending on my birthday November 16th. After November 16th, the rates will increase to $150. You can register here, and let's head to Jamaica! Shhhh, you are getting the details first hand, the website will be updated shortly.

Dancing Preachers, we are taking a missions trip to Jamaica, to be a blessing to all. We are calling for ALL the worshipers to meet us in the mountains, where liberation begins. Transformation always takes place on the mountaintop; ask Jesus he was transfigured on the mountain top.

In Jamaica, I saw a vision of a lion screaming out from the mountain, "Awake Tribe of Judah!" then I saw the healing waters come through the rocks and fall on the people. If you are tired of dance and church as usual, come and let the healing waters restore your soul.

Saints, the Body of Christ is being attacked like never before. You see scandals in every denomination being displayed on the television into every nation. The world is asking "Is the church real or Memorex, is God real or Memorex?" Where is the difference? The earth is groaning with utterance waiting for the true sons and daughters to arise. Stay tuned by watching and praying; the stage has been set for a glorious display of the Lord.

Arise, "Tribe of Judah" and let the restoration begin. Worshippers are the beginning of true liberation. John 4:23: But the time is coming--indeed it's here now--when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. Dancing Preachers, I will see you in Jamaica, where our feet will map out the Nations. The church has the Spirit but now it's time to worship in truth.

We want to ensure that you have a beautiful experience in Jamaica, as you witness God's glory through the dance. This is a time of empowerment and ecumenical studies for your mind and body and restoration for your soul. There will be over 40 workshops for liturgical dancers, classes for the youth, mime ministry, drama, prophetic, warfare, worship and praise dance. We have experienced and seasoned dance ministers teaching the workshops. Your life will never be the same.

Come worship with us on the beach, as we cast off all restraints. We are staying in an awesome 4 diamond hotel, with the best chef on the Island and rates that are unbeatable! I tell you, God's favor towards you is just not fair; I will see you in Jamaica! DAO

Okay, let's play catch up!

The Sons Of Zadok mentorship course has been phenomenal. These dance ministers are going deep in to the exegetical process. After completing a historical analysis on their dance word study in context, form criticism, source criticism, bible translations and redactions, then they will preach the word through their contextualization process.

We have covered the history of dance in the secular and sacred, banners, garments, colors, types of liturgical dance and leadership. They will also receive a "Dance Teacher Certificate," once they have completed their course work.

The new session will begin on January 17th and you can register on today. For more information please read Article 4. Study to show yourself approved.

The International Dance Commission (IDC) is hosting several workshops worldwide, I hope to see you there. I am traveling to Clark Atlanta University Center on November 6th for a one day workshop and then headed to South Carolina on November 19th.

Since we last spoke I have traveled to Connecticut, North Carolina, Detroit, Florida, New York and Jamaica. Thanks to all the ministries for showing me so much love. I ministered at the New Vision International in Bridgeport, CT. Special thanks to the Pastor & First Lady Calhoun, two of my favorite people in the world.

In Jamaica, on Sunday I ministered at Emmanuel Apostolic and boy, oh boy do they know how worship in Jamaica. We worshiped for hours, there was such liberty in the house. Special thanks to the lovely Christine and the first lady of the house, for being such awesome hosts. This story is continued below.

Election Day is on November 2 and it is quickly approaching. If you have been impacted by the economy, housing and job market then please go to the polls and vote. We cannot afford to sit at home, while people are suffering because of the misguided policies from both parties. Vote for the people that represent your issues and not for parties that teach hate.

I am endorsing Representative Georganna Sinkfield for the Secretary of State in Georgia. She has served the Georgia House of Representatives over 20 years. I was her legislative aide years ago and witnessed her continued dedication, integrity and commitment to the people in the State of Georgia. Be the change that you want to see by going to the polls to vote. International Dance Commission (IDC) We Don't Just Dance, We Vote!

My children are keeping me so busy. Khidhar loves to play basketball and he is a professional video game player. LOL! He should create a program; he might as well get paid for playing video games all day. As long as he does well in his honor classes, he can continue to play the games.

Nandi was in a pageant and she won Most the Promising Model. She was also booked for two upcoming photo shoots. Watch out Tyra Banks! Nandi is such a blessing because she is so humble. As an honor student she would rather be reading a book than taking photos.

I told her that maybe God would use her beauty to open up doors for her as an advocate, for those whose voices have been suppressed, just like "Queen "Esther." Wow, It is no coincidence that she was named after Shaka Zulu's mother who was the "Queen of Queens."

The prophetess Imani wakes up and tells me "Mommy, I am not that kind of church girl, I'm a rock star." "What!" I replied, "You better be rocking your stars in church." Okay, Lord she is only 5 years old! Calgon, take me away. Yall stretch your hand towards the computer and pray for me.

God is so good to us: Lord, Please continue to bless the fruit of my womb.

Jamaica

In Jamaica all I could do was give thanks to God for experiencing the splendor of His glory. I saw tropical plants that made me marvel and the smell of the fresh morning dew made my heart sing. You would have thought that I was having a Reggae concert -DAY-O!, bobbing my head to the beat, as I partially understood what they said. There were no inhabitants as I worshipped every day, with not a care in the world.

I visited Mystic Mountain. Okay, I was a little vexed when I visited Mystic Mountain. Why? I'm glad you asked me - because it was so romantic. I rode on a carousel listening to birds chirping, and traveled over the enormous mountains, looking at the beautiful ocean by myself. It was so beautiful!

I have never experienced so many mountains, so vast so large and such a display of God's natural beauty and vegetation - nothing manufactured, just God. God made all of this! All I could do was sing, "How Great is Our God!" Too funny - the people in the carousel next to mine joined me in singing "How Great Is Our God."

Then when my carousel ride ended, I walked into the candlelit restaurant and enjoyed their very fine Jamaican dining. From the restaurant you could view the entire Island of Jamaica from the mountaintop.

It was breathtaking. I don't mind traveling alone, but not to the Mystic Mountain! You must share the Mystic Mountain experience with your partner. Any who. I also visited Dolphin Cove, and Dunns River Falls, held fish from the ocean, and went horseback riding, rafting, bob sledding and swimming. "I is tired now!" LOL. I needed a vacation after the vacation.

Don't be surprised! It's standard to see a goat or pig traveling on the streets. Speaking of goats, you know I love to eat. LOL! Well, I had the best peas & rice and curry goat in the world. Sorry Donna Richardson, the Shakeology had to wait. Traveling is no fun, unless you fellowship with the local people and experience what they eat.

When you hang with the locals you get to witness the authentic aspects of the country and its oral traditions. So, now I have some new family members; one is named "Auntie Lorna." Let me tell you, Auntie Lorna put her foot in the curry goat. Baby, I wanted to bring her back to Atlanta. Hopefully, when you come to Jamaica for Dancing Preachers we can get Auntie Lorna to cook for you.

The Global Impact Of Racism

While I was chilling with the locals, listening to their stories, I realized that people I encountered did not know much of their history or culture, nor did some people even care. I found myself sharing African stories and proverbs with the locals, concerning Jamaican historical facts. This left me disturbed and saddened, because it became a reality check on the negative influence that America has on the world. The young people only wanted to discuss music videos, rap songs and not their history, much like the young people in the USA.

Recognizing the importance of understanding yourself, your history and culture was also the inspiration for Article Number 2, "Adam Where Are You." We will discuss the global impact of racism and the importance of knowing thyself and "To thy own self be true."

Here is what I shared with a few locals:

Myth- Christopher Columbus discovered Jamaica.

Fact- Christopher Columbus didn't discover much of anything. How can you discover land that is inhibited by people? Unless you are saying that the people on the land have no value? Christopher Columbus was greeted by the Arawak people when he arrived in Jamaica.

We talked about the mighty Maroons that were all over the West Indies revolting against the slave trade. They were strong in Haiti and Jamaica.

Sister Nanny (Warrior Queen,) a leader of the Maroons, was from the Ashante tribe in Africa and she engaged in strategic military warfare against the slave trade. She was never a slave! A leader of her people, she led the eastern Maroons based in Moreton, and forged an alliance with another group led by Cudjoe. (The name Maroons comes from the Spanish cimarrón, meaning "gone back to the wild," "fugitive," or "runaway;" literally "living on the mountaintops.")

The Jamaican Maroons were the first people to force the English to sign a treaty with their subjects, on March 1, 1738. The lands conceded in this treaty formed a base for the Maroon's independent survival. One of these communities was named Nannytown after the female Ghanaian leader, Sister Nanny. Maroon country was so feared by the English that it became known as the "Land of Look-Behind."

"A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots." Marcus Garvey"

Furthermore, In Jamaica, some dark-skinned women are so anxious to lighten their complexions that they will concoct homemade mixtures of household bleach and chemicals used to straighten hair. The quickest selling product in Jamaica and other third world nations is skin bleach. You have people walking around with light faces and dark bodies. When I went inside of many of the business establishments, I noticed that there were predominantly mulattoes running the offices. Was this a coincidence, I couldn't help but wonder?

Black skin is so beautiful, just as white, red, and yellow skin is beautiful. I think Bob Marley said it best, "One Love." What makes us different if we are truly one body?

Now young black men are also bleaching their skin. What is going on? Whatever happened to what mama said, "The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice"? Who told you that your black was not beautiful? To defile your body by changing your skin tone says to God that a mistake has been made on you.

The whole concept of lack of self knowledge and self love was an oxymoron for me because many sources indicate that Jamaica has the highest number of churches per capita in the world. In fact the motif of lack of self knowledge is a universal theme because the USA also has a church on every corner. It leads me to ask the question then, "What is the church teaching?"

The greatest commandment is known as, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." That means the prerequisite for loving your neighbor is to first love yourself. In 1 John 4:23 the Bible states, "You are a liar if you say you love God, who you have not seen, if you don't love your brother which you see?" Again, in order to love your neighbor, you must first love yourself. This scientific method concludes that as the body of Christ we must teach people how to love themselves, so that they may be able to love their neighbors.

Like many Nations, there is definitely a great economic and social divide between the haves and have not's based on color. The power of media and television has run rampant and plays a major role in shaping the minds of people worldwide. Here is what I found in my research regarding the "Global Impact on Racism."

The Skin Bleaching Phenomenon - Commentary by Merrick A. Andrew.
Published Sept. 1, 2002. Article in the LA Times.

The controversy over the recent L'Oreal Paris ad for Feria hair color featuring an allegedly whitewashed Beyoncé (right) should spur talk about the perils of skin bleaching. (For the record, L'Oreal has firmly denied that they lightened the skin of the fair complected singer/spokesmodel.)

To clarify: I am not implying in this post that Beyoncé bleaches her skin at all. But I think this whole debate prompts a discussion of skin lightening, which is so prevalent in Asia and Africa and how harmful it is for women -- on so many levels.

Pretty Tamara Richards is convinced that white people have all the advantages in the world. She believes that white people get jobs easier, earn the highest salaries and attract handsome and wealthy men. But there's one little problem: Tamara is just about four shades darker than the typical white woman and just barely graces the 'browning' category among her black people.

Her perception is that the fairer you are, the more likely one is to become successful socially, economically and romantically. Where did Tamara get this ideology from? She was not born thinking this way, "I want to be white." Western socialization and imperialism have taken a toll in the global community. You have heard the saying, "As goes America, so goes the world."

Imperialism, as defined by The Dictionary of Human Geography, is "the creation and maintenance of an unequal economic, cultural and territorial relationship, usually between states and often in the form of an empire, based on domination and subordination."

The idea of America being the dominant empire formed on the principles of capitalism created a great unequal social divide. This division of the haves and have not's has allowed the dominant culture to shape the imagery of the world.

To see a people take the mindset that skin bleaching is acceptable, immediately reminded me of a study that was done by two psychologists, Kenneth Bancroft and Mamie Phipps Clark. They were known for their 1940s experiments using dolls to study children's attitudes about race. When given options, they found that most black children preferred to play with white dolls, over black dolls.

The Clarks were also expert witnesses in Brown v. Board of Education (1954) and testified: "That the separation of people from others of similar age and qualifications solely because of their race generates a feeling of inferiority as to their status in the community that may affect their hearts and minds in a way unlikely to ever be undone". It was obvious to me, based on my investigative studies, that there is a systemic evil to promote institutionalized global racism.

In sharing with one of my friends about social issues such as sex in schools, child trafficking and institutional racism globally, this is the same question she posed to me.

Why are we discussing race or sex?

She stated, "I am in the world but not of the world; therefore these things don't affect me." She asked me, "What is this world coming to? I wish Jesus would come back to earth today and take me home."

If our ancestors had this approach then no one black would be able to read or write, have the job, house or car that you do. We would be still be living as 1/3 of a human as indicated in the previous United States Constitution.

"Wow," I stated, "Very selfish!" These are the issues that the church as a whole doesn't want to talk about, but yet engages in the activity. I replied, "I hope Jesus allows you to live a long time." If salvation was designed for you to be free from all social issues, when you got saved you would go straight to heaven. There would be no need to manifest God's presence on earth. You are waiting on Jesus and Jesus is waiting on you!

This is a clear case of being so heavenly bound that you are no earthly good. Does anybody want to stay on earth and see the Kingdom of God come?

Questions:

1) Has the Church become apathetic?

2) Could this be this reason why the church collectively does not deal with social issues anymore?

3) One pastor said in his book, "As a church we don't have to deal with civil rights issues anymore, that's why we have attorneys." I would like to ask that pastor if the attorneys are exclusively for his church lawsuits or do they go beyond the boundaries of four walls to fight social conditions?

My friend is right, we are not of this world, however, we live in this world. We are impacted by legislation, education, music, economics, health and more.

For this reason, we will discuss the impact of racism and really begin to work on reconciliation. Acting like the problem doesn't exist does not make it go away. Many churches are in urban communities that need your help. If you don't provide programs for jobs, GEDs, parenting, then eventually your community will be negatively impacted. If homes are being broken into, at some point you will be next. Can we agree that, if Jesus doesn't return tomorrow we can still move forward to commit in real unification?

Jesus is a communal God; therefore, we must be a communal church. If one limb of your body was infected by cancer, eventually the cancer will spread through your entire body unless it is healed. The body needs all the limbs from the black, white, red, yellow and brown to participate in this healing process. Everyone has to play a role in reconciliation.

What is Racism?

According to Wikipedia, Racism is the belief that the genetic factors which constitute race are a primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

Institutional racism

occurs when certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or receive preferential treatment. Racism is the belief that the genetic factors which constitute race are a primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

So based on this definition of "Institutional Racism," one group must have the economic power and control to prevent the other groups access to equal opportunity. There are very few groups who have the power to prevent economic access.

While discrimination is real, race is not a factor for true domination. Scientists have proven that there are no differences between Caucasoid and the Mongoloid DNA. Superior thinking begins in the mind of man and is taught through socialization.

How can we tell that messages of superiority are being projected?

We can see these messages in several ways, such as Interpersonal, Internalized and Institutionalized. All three work across time intentionally and unintentionally, consciously and unconsciously, to shape the outcomes of people.

Gary Gunderson, the director of the Interfaith Health Program at Emory University, suggests that racism is found to be the linking determinate on 3 levels.

Interpersonal Racism

Uses the criterion of race to make assumptions about abilities, motives and intent of others by race, and then responds according to those basic presumptions. For instance, treatment that blacks receive from police, judges, realtors, physicians and professors (even when both are black) it is different from what whites receive.

If you ask any black man, he can probably tell you about being stopped by police for random checks. It has been coined today as "racial profiling." Being overlooked inside a store, waiting on the street while taxi cabs drive by or sometimes being ignored in a restaurant are all aspects of interpersonal racism.

Institutional Racism

Science pushes us toward our second level of racism. All over the world it is impossible not to be aware of the access to goods, services and opportunities. This type of racism is sustained in our laws, customs and practices.

Statistics have proven that there are disparities of treatment in health care and food services. To be exact the infant mortality rate is greater in the African American community because of these disparities. This is not based on treatment but the lack thereof and the quality of conditions in the urban city areas.

The author of the book, "Countering the Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys," suggests that there is also a huge gap in education because of institutional racism. His study has shown that black boys mentally drop out of school in the third grade. This is not due to the lack of comprehension however the educational material and testing does not reflect their voices. The young men would say that school is not interesting. This coupled with the social conditions that the inner city youth fight everyday such as gang violence, single parenting, drugs, lack of proper health care etc.

As of June 30, 2008, there were 846,000 black male inmates held in state or federal prisons or local jails in the United States. This represents 40.2% of all inmates for the same year. This data is based on the Prison Inmates at Midyear 2008 Statistical Tables of the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics. About 65% of black inmates are aged 20-39 (Young Men.)

That means that almost 50% of the entire prison population is filled with black men. If the Body of Christ is not outraged by this alarming number, then I don't know what to say.

Furthermore there are different penalties for white and blue collar crimes, which happen to correlate to differences in race and/or social class. One can embezzle millions of dollars from innocent people or traffic large quantities of cocaine into the country and yet will receive a different type of treatment based on your race. Based on race and social class, one perpetrator will receive a slap on the hand or a short sentence for high dollar white collar crimes yet the one selling crack on the corner will probably receive a long jail sentence.

The measure changes a 1986 law, enacted at a time when crack cocaine use was rampant and considered a particularly violent drug. Under the law, a person convicted of crack cocaine possession received the same mandatory prison term as someone with 100 times the same amount of powder cocaine. The new legislation reduces that ratio to about 18 to 1.

Is the position of the church that all drugs are a sin, therefore it does not matter about the disparities or inequalities? If they were not sinning, then they would not be in this position. It does not matter that young black men may spend half of their lives in prison.

The harsh reality is that with all of these young men going to prison, there are a lot of babies without dads and the result is a much weaker community.

Is prison providing young black men with any type of rehabilitation? Once the young black men are released from prison, what is next? In many cases, they have lost their right to vote. In many cases, they are denied jobs. In many cases, they are denied housing.

What are the options for them, other than a life of crime? If they live in the community and the church is in the community, how does this not impact the church?

There are strides being made to correct this issue. During President Obama's campaign he said the sentencing disparity, "has disproportionately filled our prisons with young black and Latino drug users." He cited figures that African Americans serve almost as much time for drug offenses - 58.7 months - as whites do for violent offenses - 61.7 months. Eighty percent of those convicted of crack cocaine offenses are black.

This concept of a conspiracy to kill male children on the basis of race is a not a new phenomenon. One of the stories we are acquainted with is Pharaoh's decree to kill all male children. We will go into more detail regarding Pharaoh's conspiracy and the importance of genealogy in Article 2, "Adam, Where Are You?"

Internalized Racism

The Dr. Cornel West would suggest that the common practice of generational racism, will lead to "existential nihilism." The many years of discrimination will lead to a people feeling without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value. Could this be the reason for so much black on black killing in the urban areas?

Images are constantly being displayed of what the ideal beauty looks like. Who determines the image of ideal beauty? Who runs the television stations? Who controls the images that are seen in magazines, on bill boards and in music videos?

When this idea of beauty gives preferential treatment for jobs, health care, housing, education, and economics based on one's skin tone, that is racism.

Here are the images and customs being displayed in media that promote internalized racism and self hatred:

CNN- After traveling around the world, I am convinced that the stories CNN produces are half truths and lies. The propaganda and misrepresentation of dark countries and dark people is really over the top. Before I traveled to Jamaica, all I saw on CNN concerning Jamaica was violence and the people in a civil uproar regarding a Jamaican drug dealer. Yes, there was a small area in Kingston where there was civil unrest, but the news presented the story as if it was on the scale of World War III. All I can say is that when I visited Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, I had a great time and experienced no violence. TV, Movies - In the movies and on television the standard of beauty is a white Barbie doll. Now you have black girls such as Nicki Minaj saying that they are Barbie, creating a false identity. There is so much Botox being used in Hollywood to maintain the appearance of youth, it looks like their faces are going to crack. You can get a face lift, new breasts, and now Botox in your booty. Oh my!

Church - The church has also been greatly impacted by the world's images; now pastors don't want to grow old. I heard a pastor on the radio describe it in this manner, "The church is suffering from the 3 C's Cash, Cameras and Cults." What does this say about a generation that's following you, if you don't like your own image and you're forced to wear a mask? How do we help others locate their identity, if you are still searching for your own?

The scholar Cornell West would call this Nihilism: a doctrine of total and absolute destructiveness, especially towards the world at large and including oneself.

Not only do we struggle with our own image but the image of others as well. Social classism also divides the congregation. Let's take a poll. Go into your church on Sunday and see how many people there are homeless. Do the money holders receive positions or titles based on their wealth or were they really called by God? Take a look at the front rows; who occupies that space? Are the people with money given preferential treatment?

If a homeless person came into the church, would they be escorted up front to the front row or kicked outside to the streets, based on their image? Has the church become a social club; do you really need a ticket to enter? Don't shoot the messenger; I am just asking the questions.

Research has shown that much of the missionary work taking place in the world on dark continents is done by predominantly white congregations.

Is the lack of support from African American congregations on the dark continents due to the lack of budget, to them not being interested in missionary work or not making it a priority, or is it another reflection of self hate?

Corporate America - I mean everyone knows that dreadlocks, excessive facial hair or other cultural expressions are really unacceptable and not the social norm. Why?

Music - The majority of musical icons that are having frequent air rotation are, if not white, light skinned or maybe, like the late Michael Jackson, turning lighter every day. If you are dark complected, like Fantasia, you had better have a voice like Aretha Franklin or be able to tell jokes like Jamie Fox because that is not the image society wants to portray.

What about the time Alicia Keys and India Arie were nominated for the same Grammy award? It was reported that Alicia Keys won the award based on her color. Is this really true? I heard a local DJ in Atlanta say that India Arie's music was in heavy rotation until they saw her video.

Whatever happened to India Arie's music anyway? "Maybe she's not the average girl on the video." After pondering about pop culture for a few minutes and the standard of beauty, my mind began to reflect on the Willie Lynch letter, "Making of a Slave."

Is the indoctrination that Willie spoke of is still being played out today? Let's read exerts from his letter in Article 2.

With this in mind, I was prompted to write a long commentary in Article 2, which ended up being 30 pages long. Whew, I had to condense it greatly because I know you don't have a lot of time. This is what happens when we don't speak often. I miss you much!

As an ambassador of Christ, and one who has been compelled to become a liberationist theologian, I am obligated to speak the truth to power. It is not popular and it does not always feel good, but it is my mandate. As Howard Thurman would say, "Even when I want to be silent, God keeps bothering me!".

In this article we will discuss the lost identity of Adam, the myths of Christianity, the relevance of genealogy and the continued impact of "The Making of a Slave."

Today I am writing to speak about a systemic evil called racism and capitalism that has permeated through generations and caused a great divide in the Body of Christ. This story is an attempt to expose the myths and bring about self discovery that leads to unification.

This article is an approach to bringing about knowledge for the equipping of the saints, until we all come into the bond of unity. My goal is to dispel the generational myths and present the facts to you, in hopes that the Holy Spirit will present the truths that make us all free. Ephesians 4:12-13.

Could the degeneration of our society be due to the lack of Knowledge and Vision?

In Hosea 6:4 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

If we are going to be agents of change and effective ministers of the gospel, someone has to speak truth to power. As preachers or dancing preachers, we cannot sit idly by and perpetuate a system that breeds fear, ignorance, cultural division and unequal economic opportunity.

The truth is that those who have been in a position to speak truth to power, have been financially benefiting from the ignorance of the masses. They have turned God into a Genie in a bottle. If you give this amount of offering you will be blessed. The truth is if you woke up on today, you are already blessed. One of the challenges with prosperity gospel is that it preaches individualism and does not provide a plan for the masses. God is a universal God and God is concerned about the masses. If those in a position of power dared to tell the truth, they fear it would cut into their paychecks. Who is your provider?

"Adam Where Are You?" In Genesis 3:9

9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" Why would God who is Omniscient and Omnipresent ask Adam for his location? It was not because God needed a zip code or additional information. I believe God wanted Adam to locate himself. Adam who are you?

Adam then goes on to say in verse 10, "I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself." 11 God said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?"

Adam had the first case of stolen identity.

Why did Adam see himself differently than his Creator?

When Adam finds himself, then he can be more relational and understanding of others by loving thy neighbor as himself.

One of my observations of this text is that, people who don't know who they are will exist in fear and hide behind false doctrines and impose those false doctrines on others.

God is posing this question to the Body of Christ: "Adam, Where Are You?" Where are you in music, spirituality, economics, politics, education? Where is the five-fold ministry: apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelist, teachers - where are you on these issues?

Where is the prophetic voice on CNN, in the White House or furthermore in the church?

Is the Reign of God alive or, as Renita Weems would suggest, "What do you do when God is silent?"

This dialog is a series of questions - questions I would like the Body of Christ to answer honestly, which will help foster reconciliation and unity. This article is an attempt to have Adam locate himself.

The ramifications of this systemic evil made me reflect on a few things:

    Questions:

    1. Has Adam ever located his true (identity)?

    2. Is the church relevant on social issues concerning health, education, legislation, music, economics etc?

    3. What impact does capitalism and imperialism have on the church?

    4. What impact did racism have on the church and world views?

    5. Was Willie Lynch correct in his letters, "The Making of a Slave?" The Black slaves, after receiving this indoctrination, shall carry on and will become self-refueling and self-generating for HUNDREDS of years, maybe THOUSANDS.

    6. Does racism really exist?

    7. Could the Clarks' observation in the black dolls test be valid? Can this inferiority complex that was bred into the minds of African slaves be undone?

Some say that racism doesn't exist anymore; why do we have to discuss this? We have been freed!

What is worse, to have shackles on your hands and feet, or to have shackles on your mind?

    8. Some say, according to the 13th, 14th, and 15th constitutional amendments of the United States, we have been granted freedom. Is it okay to be granted freedom, without being granted access?

We have a black president, surely race is not an issue.

We also have a whole group of people entitled the "tea party" that oppose him, not based on ideology but because he is black.

For God's sake, they won't let the man declare he is a Christian or an American. What's up with that?

Cornel West suggests, in his book Race Matters, "under these circumstances black existential angst derives from the lived experience of ontological wounds and emotional scars permeating society and culture."

As a church if we don't deal with these scars we may lose another generation to false identity. Truly our young people should not be identified by a song, or bling bling.

    10. Where does the church stand on these social issues?

Luke 4:18 states - The spirit of the Lord is upon you to preach the gospel to the poor and set at liberty the captive! That's a social gospel.

I have heard a pastor say from the pulpit, "Thank God for our slave masters who brought us from Africa to the USA, where we learned how to be civilized and serve a monotheistic God." He made it sound as if Africans were brought to America on an extended vacation by missionaries.

All civilization started in the womb, affectionately coined "Mother Africa." The original meaning of Africa is Akebulan, which means the origin of the human race. Audival George and Lewis Leakey have provided evidence that civilization was born in Africa.

Some say I'm not black, white, yellow or red, I'm a Christian and ethnicity is not important and here is the scripture to prove it: Galatians 3:28.

Funny, I never heard a Jewish person quoting, ethnicity is not important. They are quick to say I am Jew and give you the full extent of their history as an Israelite.

This is true; we have all been adopted into the family of Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

This does not negate your everyday wrestlings and responsibilities or working with people in the community. If you join the family of faith in the belief that you are inferior, then you will act inferior in the body of Christ.

MYTH: This myth came about because western scholars used Christianity to support slavery, so of course they would say that Africans were inferior to white people and considered 1/3 of a human and the United States constitution supported this theory. The western scholars also refer to the African religions as primitive (original). African religion has also been associated with polytheism.

Facts: The truth is that the purpose of the missionaries brutally uprooting the Africans was not to present Christ. It was for them to serve as part of the slave trade to promote capitalism. Africans were captured and forced into slavery. They were stripped of their culture, customs and family. They traveled through the voyage of the middle passage where they were raped, starved, beat and thrown into small tight spaces. Those who did not comply were thrown into the ocean.

John Mbiti: This scholar argues that African religion began as a monotheistic religion that has evolved into polytheism. Africans believed in the Supreme High God (Amma).

The bible teaches us that the Israelites served several deities, so Moses had to ask God which God is sending me. God replies "I am." It is during this time that we see God as the universal God.

Basil Davidson: suggests that Africans led the world in mathematics and science.

William Wells Brown: Early Africans had a high degree of sophistication.

Plato: studied in Africa for 12 years before returning to Greece and took back the seven liberal arts: geometry, grammar, music, rhetoric, logic, astrology, and arithmetic.

Tertullian: An African, is considered to be the father of Western religion because he developed the concept of the Trinity.

Augustine: An African, he was born in 354 in North Africa to a pagan father named Patricius and a Christian mother named Monica. Augustine is one of the most important figures in the development of Western Christianity developed his own approach to philosophy and theology, accommodating a variety of methods and different perspectives. He believed that the grace of Christ was indispensable to human freedom, and he framed the concepts of original sin and just war.

This is all important to know because if everyone came from seed Africa, how can the child teach the mother how to be civil? Some of the major constructs of the African minds can be found in the building of the pyramids, which to this date no one has been able to duplicate.

Why is Genealogy Important? Why is it important to know your heritage?

Throughout the entire Bible we are given a detailed description of Genealogy. In every chapter the bible depicts a clear picture of heritage by expressing who begot who. The bible shares with us the stories of God the Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

On several occasions, in the bible it states that Jesus is a Jew and that He came for the people of Israel. We are Christians however it does not negate our lineage. The bible tells us based on lineage what groups to marry, who to spare, who to save, what generation to bless and curse; all of this was based on Genealogy.

Jesus also made declarations for specifics groups of people based on their lineage.

Matthew 15:24 Then Jesus said to the woman, "I was sent only to help God's lost sheep--the people of Israel."

John 4:9 The Samaritan woman wants to know about her bloodline. 9The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])

The Romans presented this question, which group is God bringing salvation for? Why are the Romans asking these questions?

    Because genealogy is important.

Romans 3:29-30 "Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.

God also makes promises based on Genealogy:

In 2 Samuel 7:8-14 God promises David that his offspring would be blessed and his kingdom established forever. Who are David's descendants?

"'The LORD declares to you that the LORD himself will establish a house for you: 12 When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever."

This also paints a picture for the pattern for worship, but that's a whole 'nother book. Let's stay focused.

Amos 9:11-12 "'After these things I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen, and I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, in order that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,' says the Lord, who makes these things known from of old."

One of the purposes for Genealogy is because everyone needs to know where they fit into the plan of God. They want to know that Jesus came to redeem their bloodline and it is a part of their heritage. As a man thinks so is he. What does a group of people to think like, if they feel that they have been cursed and they are not in the plan of God? "Adam Who Are You?"

When you travel abroad you also see a cultural example of this by the picture of Jesus being displayed as one of their own. In China, Jesus is Chinese. In India, Jesus is Indian. In America, Jesus is White.

Furthermore, if genealogy was not important, then the devil would not try so hard to take out entire races or tribes of people. The enemy would not try so hard to steal your identity. We find this example in the book of Exodus where Pharaoh makes a decree to kill all the Hebrew male children.

The bible reads, "What is this I hear that the liberator is supposed to come free these people from Captivity?" Pharaoh then goes on to say that "my slaves will be my slaves."

Na'im Akbar is the author of, "Vision for Black Men." A wise man then states that the freedom will come through a male mentality. If you kill the male children who are born in the land of the captives, then more than likely you will kill the one who is born to be the liberator. There is an attempt in society to kill the black male liberator. The social norms, ethics, education and even the biblical context are working towards this end.

Could this decree against male children be a reflection of why we have more black men in jail than in college?

Could it be why over 50% of the entire prison population is filled with black men and about 65% of black inmates are aged 20-39 (Young Men.)?

Could it be why we see a disparity in education, food, jobs, healthcare and housing in the urban communities?

Could it be the reason for racial profiling; is Pharaoh still on the prowl?

In the book Vision for Black Men, the author, Na'im Akbar, deals with the restoration of the black man's manhood. It is a great book; I strongly encourage everyone to read it.

As mentioned earlier, I wanted you to read portions of Willie Lynch's letter, It helps to shed light on many situations.

As it related to this Article, here are portions of Willie Lynch's letter and the similarities to the African American mindset.

    "Making Of A Slave."

" Willie Lynch states: Concentrate on Future generations".

"I have a foolproof method for controlling black slaves. I guarantee every one of you that, if installed correctly, it will control the slaves for at least 300 hundred years. I have outlined a number of differences among the slaves and I take these differences and make them bigger. I use fear, distrust and envy for control purposes.

These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South.

Therefore, if you break the FEMALE [the] mother, she will BREAK the offspring in its early years of development; and when the offspring is old enough to work, she will deliver it up to you.

Willie Lynch further states: Use the differences to Break the black man.

Take this simple little list of differences and think about them. On top of my list is

    · Age
    · Color
    · Intelligence
    · Size
    · Sex
    · Sizes Of Plantations
    · Status On Plantations

"Age," but it's there only because it starts with an "a." The second is "Color" or shade. There is Intelligence, Size, Sex, Sizes of plantations, Status on plantations, Attitude of owners, whether the slaves live in the valley, on a hill, East, West, North, South, have fine hair, course hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences, I shall give you an outline of action, but before that, I shall assure you that distrust is stronger than trust and envy than adulation, respect or admiration.

The black slaves, after receiving this indoctrination, shall carry on and will become self-refueling and self-generating for hundreds of years, maybe thousands.

You must also have white servants and overseers [who] distrust all Blacks. But it is necessary that your slaves trust and depend on us, they must love, respect and trust us only.

Gentlemen, these kits are your keys to control. Use them. Have your wives and children use them; never miss an opportunity. IF USED INTENSELY FOR ONE YEAR, THE SLAVES THEMSELVES WILL REMAIN PERPETUALLY DISTRUSTFUL. Thank you gentlemen."

    Questions For All God's Men:

    1) Is Willie Lynch right; does indoctrination of slaves still exist?

    2) Is this the reason that it is so difficult to unify the body of Christ? Are the ploys of generational bondage still gripping the minds of black people? Is this why the skin bleach is selling like Hot Cakes?

    3) Black man, is it true that one of your true measures of success is to have a white woman or a woman with a lighter hue than you are?

    4) You know, the trophy wife. Black man, does it really make you feel in control, confident and affirmed? If so, by whose standards?

Willie Lynch breaking process for the African American Women

Take the female and run a series of tests on her to see if she will submit to your desires willingly. Test her in every way, because she is the most important factor for good economics. If she shows any sign of resistance in submitting completely to your will, do not hesitate to use the bullwhip on her to extract that last bit of [----] out of her.

Take care not to kill her, for in doing so, you spoil good economics. When in complete submission, she will train her offspring in the early years to submit to labor when they become of age. Understanding is the best thing; she will raise her MALE and female offspring in reversed roles.

For fear of the young male's life, she will psychologically train him to be mentally and dependent, but physically strong, because she has become psychologically independent, she will train her female offspring to be psychologically independent. What have you got? You've got the nigger WOMAN OUT FRONT AND THE nigger MAN BEHIND AND SCARED.

This is a perfect situation of sound sleep and economics. Before the breaking process, we had to be alertly on guard at all times. Now, we can sleep soundly, for out of frozen fear his woman stands guard for us.

    Questions For All God's Woman

    1) The process of breaking woman, does that play any role with the fact that there are droves of women in church in a greater percentage than black men? Is this the reason why women are filling up the colleges, seminaries and now the work force?

    2) Is Willie Lynch correct? Have black women really been bred to be submissive for the purposes of good economics? Women, be silent. Wives, obey. I think those are the scriptures that are frequently quoted.

    3) For the fear of our boys' lives, are we training black boys to be mentally weak and dependent but physically strong (body over mind)?

A reflection of this is played out in urban music: Chris Brown's "I used to care about you but now I am 'Chucking up the deuces;'" Trey Songz' "Bottles Up;" R Kelley's "You remind me of my Jeep." No love for the woman, just hit it and I'm out. Oh yeah, Willie said to keep the man detached, moving and working.

    4) Is it true black woman, are you training your girls to be strong and independent, so self sufficient, she won't need a man? After all, there are many highly educated women, who can take care of themselves. I think mama said, "I can do bad all by myself." Which leads to big economics.

    5) Are the Black Man and the Black Woman playing a major role in the genocide of their own race? I think Willie would suggest that we are doing a great job.

One day one you have time please read the entire letter. It has brought so much illumination into my life for the things we do subconsciously. It is time to make a change. I think I will start with me.

If you are ready to be a part of bringing the body of Christ together and a part of a major change, please email me your recommendations. I do not mind hearing the issues but please accompany them with solutions. Let us pray.

    PRAYER: 2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Can you pray this with me: God we thank you in advance for a healing of the land. Lord we are many members in one body. We desire to be bought to your perfection through Jesus Christ. We repent for using slavery as a way to oppress people and for economic gain, we repent for seeing our selves other than you created us, we repent for the schisms and areas of fear, envy, lust, pride, race, hate and distrust that continue to divide us, we repent for the lack of love in the body of Christ.

Most High and gracious God please forgive us and ancestors for branding false images in our minds. We pray that you would heal us from every scar, generational curse and provide us with the correct vision. Lord, give us a view of who You have ordained us to be. Bring every high thing down. Bond all races together in UNITY. We are calling on the comfort of the Holy Spirit to heal past memories in our subconscious that have caused the body chronic pain.

We pray, Holy Spirit, that you will soothe us with the Balm of Gilead. Jesus we love you and we ask you to teach us how to love. Teach us how to come together as the Body of Christ. We have the Spirit now give us the truth. Amen. We are Free!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a few recommendations: ·

Teach all children their history at home and in the church.

·Lobby education to record an accurate account of history in the public school system, also to include African History as a part of American History.

·The church should have a Board of Governance- that will deal with ethical issues and the abuse of power. If the church does not start dealing with its issues, then they will be regulated by State Law.

·A Statewide Clergy Council- This council will work along side the White house to assist and have voice in social change. This council work to influence government but be independent of government. The Council will work towards promoting prayer and the Christian agenda. It will be an Ecumenical Council comprised of several nations and denominations including Bishops, Priest, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers.

A leader will be appointed by each denomination to serve on the council. Each Council member will have one vote and will serve thousands of Christians Constituents worldwide. This council will be included in on White house discussions regarding the position of the church in education, health, economic and more.

I would like you to respond this article. Caution: Again, please do not present problems without brining to the table solutions. I will post your recommendations, in the next newsletter.

    Beauty Is Her Name

This article has inspired me to write this poem to all my little girls in the urban areas or the ghettos. It may seem like you are forgotten but "Beauty Is Your Name." This poem has been coded with Ebonics, I wanted to meet you where you are.

Look at her beautiful black skin. It's chocolate like a snicker, silky like a milky way and dark as a berry. You remind me of Jesus with your bronze skin tone and your woolly hair. Your pretty brown eyes glisten and share the stories of your soul. What is your name?

You are a business woman, preacher, care taker, nurturer, lover, mother sister and friend, You put the wise in wisdom and your beauty never ends.

She is a phenomenal woman and she's every woman, too. She is worth far more than just rubies and could never be measured by all that she do. She so Fly just being her, she not defined by what she do. If you could see what I see, you would have to love her too.

She knows how to get the bacon and fry it up in the pan and she will tell you with an attitude, I don't just want any kind of man. What is your name, your wisdom I just can't understand.

Her body is so amazing and she was skillfully and wonderfully made too. Never duplicated only to be originated, from her big full lips to the curve in her hips. When you walk into the room they just say "She Got It." She fancy huh.

She is wifey boo, don't get it twisted she could never be 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th, or someone you see for a quickie, when you want a quick fix.

What makes her different? You have to ask! She'll say what you think? Let's start with the fact that I'm so envied by many they cut my nose off the Sphinx.

When you feel down and out and you don't know what to do, she is the woman who gets your prayer through. She is not compromised, intelligent and keeps her pearls away from sin. She stays in the throne room because her beauty never ends.

When she leaves your presence to bid farewell, you will stand their singing that song with Miguel
"All I want is you now, Now that you're gone, gone, gone." That is why, Beauty is my name.

Oh, here comes my sisters, from Asia, North America, Europe and Australia too, looking at them reminds me of me because they are all beautiful too. Beauty is my name! Loving my neighbor as I love myself.

"I found God in myself, and loved her fiercely." Ntozake Shange's

    ~Wednesday Night~

We started the conference with a welcome reception from the Minister of Tourism. It involved a few Dignitaries, media and the Dancing Preachers International delegates. What a sight to see dance ministry and government together, dealing with a Nation's economic, social and political aspects of the land through Worship!

Dr. Cindy Trimm imparted a word to us to fulfill our assignments. She challenged us to get the necessary training to be effective in the ministry of dance.

    ~Thursday Night~

Thank you for your Love and support for my new garment line, The Bride Designs. If you want to view additional designs or make a purchase please click on Article 2

We witnessed a display of "God's Glorious Garments." Dr. Jamal Bryant let us know that we are "More Than Able." We were soaked with the Word, and with renewed purpose.

    ~Friday Afternoon~

We enjoyed fellowship, food and fun on the Harbour Master Boat Tour. I never had so much fun in my life, the boat ride was AWESOME!

What liberty we felt to dance, sing, and rejoice upon the waters as music that proclaimed the name of Jesus filled the air. We ate a delicious Bajan buffet. There were smiles all around as people rode the waterslide, snorkeled, or just rested on the boat. It was an experience that we will never forget.

    ~Friday Night~

What an awesome display of dance throughout the Nations! Many of us were on our feet time and time again as the power of God was experienced in so many unique ways through dancers from Barbados, Canada, The Philippines, USA, Israel, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. The "dancing girl" (and boy) in all of us was released! Thank you Dr Battle for your participation during the conference.

    ~Saturday~

Early in the Morning we fell in love with the Father., all over again. The intimacy we experienced on the beach can not be articulated with words. I guess you had to be there.

We witnessed the birth of a new mandate for us to "Stretch Forth, "Break Forth," and be "Released" into what God has for us to impact Nations for His Kingdom. I tell you after listening to Dr. Jamal and Dr Trimm, their was really not much to be said but the Lord released a word that caused and activation into all us to Launch. The Lord allowed me to be used in an unusual way to dance the message that he had given to me to impart.

Thank you you so i had a great time at the conference a life Changing experience for me.....Seeing and hearing other persons with the same visons and same dreams......make things seem a little more normal to me and that i was not going crazy but.....truly know God has been speaking to me. May God contiue to bless and keep this ministry......it was my first and will not be my last Thanks again Sabrina it was a great time happpy that i meet you....all the best.......love Christine Haber from Jamaica.

HI Sabrina, Thanks again for everything, I really have been blessed with the Word, the training and the knowledge and refreshed and revived. I don't think you really will know or understand how much you have influenced me and encouraged me on my journey in the dance ministry. My knowledge has increased, my relationship in dance has increased,my purpose for dance has increased,my faith has increased, God has called me to deliver his word through dance,I am a praise instrument for my Lord.
Thank you for being in my midst on my T.V with your teachings and just being able to hear your Love for the Lord and pouring out of your spirit -God ain't playing with us with our gifts either use them correctly or move out of the way. I miss being there physically in class,so the next closest thing to being there is to have you teach it on my T.V. at home. Thank you so much for letting God use you in his mighty way giving us understanding in what we do and why we minister through dance. I had been searching for someone to give me revelation of it and someone that I could relate to how God wants me to teach his word. I couldn't find it here in Columbus because, here it is done but did anyone truly understand it, and the power in it, It's to laxed back here like I'm doing this cause our church wants a dance ministry, but do not know the power behind it. Do not know God's purpose for it. Alot of the church's are blind to the understanding. Love you Sabrina, you are always in my heart and I am continously praying here in C-Town God continues to show up and show out in your life so you can continue to bless his people with the true and living word through dance, so our understanding and our dance will not be in vain. Please continue to pray for my mind being opened up to understanding and revelation for where God is taking me through Dance ministering his word. Thanks for being my mentor for worshipping God on a another Level. "No LImits-NO Bounderies" I see increase all around me. Love Ya, Arnethia Viewer comments:

    Sons Of Zadok

    The Sons Of Righteousness

We have been learning a great deal about the bible as it relates to worship, in the "Sons Of Zadok" course. The dance ministers that are taking this course are being stretched like never before and trust me it is not easy to volunteer for a paradigm shift. To attempt to understand the word in its authenticity or God's original intent through the process of exegesis, challenges your tradition and opens up your mind.

After completing a historical analysis on the context, form criticism, source criticism, bible translations, word study, history of secular and sacred dance, banners, garments, colors, types of liturgical dance and leadership, then they will preach the word through the contextualization process. You will also receive a "Dance Teacher Certificate."

My God! I am so excited to see the manifested presence of God through the knowledge and revelation of His dance ministers, who have studied to show themselves approved.

The next course begins on January 17th. We are accepting registration on today. You can complete your registration with payment in full on today or make additional installments. All payments must be completed by December 1st. Listen to one of the recordings here, it will bless your life. For more informations regarding the class, you may email us at info@sabrinamckenzie.org. You can register here.
