June's newsletter features LWB's Foster Care Program. Based on the belief that every child deserves a family of his or her own, LWB's Foster Care Program began in 2004. In Loving Memory of LWB's Dee Anderson

It was with great sadness that we learned last month of the sudden passing of Dee Anderson, our Kaifeng Foster Care Coordinator. Everyone who had worked with Dee had the utmost respect for her, and she will be greatly missed by everyone at Love Without Boundaries.

Announcing Our New Foster Care Program!
Under Construction

 

In March this year, Amy Eldridge, Sheri Russon, Cindy Wu, and Arlene Howard visited the new Duyun orphanage in Guizhou Province with the hope of setting up a foster care program. The Duyun orphanage is still not completed, and the majority of the children reside in the LiBo orphanage, which is about a two to three hours' drive from Duyun. However we were able to enjoy visiting a few children who were living with families in the area.

 
LWB is now ready to open our newest foster care program in Duyun. Two of the original children we met in March have been adopted, and the program is beginning with just three children. We hope that the program will grow over time.
