The Children's Museum of Cleveland Sets All-Time Annual Attendance Record!
University Circle - Attendance at The Children's Museum of Cleveland (CMC) continued its strong performance, setting an all-time record of 102,356 visitors in 2009. Representing a 6.5% increase over 2008, it breaks the old annual attendance record set over twenty years ago.  This record also extends a trend of increasing annual attendance that has occurred for the past six consecutive years.

Contributing to the year's record-breaking attendance was an expanded series of educational summer camps, the introduction of winter camps, new family and child-only workshops, innovative daily programming, and an increased focus on serving the underserved community of Greater Cleveland through evening programs and outreach. The Museum also hosted numerous special events in 2009 including: a Stuffed Animal Adoption and Teddy Bear Clinic, the 30th Annual Tri-C JazzFest's "Jazz for Kids" Concerts, a Safe Kids Safety Jamboree and booster seat give-away, a Fancy Nancy's Girls Night Out, a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Lunar Landing, our 7th Annual Halloween Spooktacular FallFest Weekend, and our 5th Annual New Year's at Noon Family Celebration to conclude the year and ring in 2010.

Offering a variety of hands-on, family-oriented exhibits and programming, The Children's Museum of Cleveland is 'the' Northeast Ohio destination and resource for all young children, parents and caregivers to engage in fun, innovative, interactive play that accelerates the child's creativity, development and education. The Children's Museum is located at 10730 Euclid Avenue in University Circle. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission is $7.00 for adults; $7.00 for children ages 1 to 12 years; infants 11 months and under and members enter free.
