Small Business of the Year Awards' Luncheon to Recognize Arlington Businesses
On June 7, 2012 at the Sheraton Arlington Hotel, the North Texas Small Business Development Center and the Arlington Chamber will honor businesses, both small and large. The Chamber will also recognize its prestigious small businesses of the year in both the for-profit and non-profit categories. The emcee for the event will be a D/FW favorite - Scott Murray. Chamber's Women's Alliance Miss Representation Screening is Thursday! |
This Thursday, May 3, the Chamber's Women's Alliance, in partnership with SafeHaven and Tarrant County College, Southeast Campus, will host a screening of the acclaimed film - Miss Representation. Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the film exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. | The Chamber is hosting an Energy and Natural Resources Public Policy Forum Thursday, May 17, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Arlington Convention Center. The forum will touch on energy generation, water supply and other crucial infrastructure issues from a federal, state and local perspective.
