This Thursday Hear Judge Whitley's "State of the County" Address
Tarrant County Judge B. Glen Whitley will present the inaugural "State of the County" luncheon address to Arlington Chamber of Commerce members Thursday, February 16 at Cacharel Restaruant.
Whitley, a member of the county commissioners court since 1997, serves as the head administrative official for the county government, which has more than 4,000 employees and locations in all areas of Tarrant County. The county is the main agency responsible for the administration of criminal justice, the civil and family court systems, public health and is a significant player in local transportation decisions.

As part of the Champion Education Initiative, the Arlington Chamber Foundation has a $2,500 scholarship available to one 2011-2012 graduating AISD student who plans to attend either UT Arlington or TCC. Click here to download the application. Deadline is February 29.
