John Fernandez to Speak at NASVF Conference

U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development, John Fernandez, will speak at the National Association of Seed & Venture Funds during the Annual Conference at the Arlington Sheraton, Oct. 17 - 19. In addition to his keynote, Fernandez will be a featured panelist in a session "Top Down Federal Funding - Attracting Dollars for Industries in Your Region." Storybook Arlington's first event of the 2011/2012 season is acclaimed artist Raul Colon. Hear him describe the beauty and fun of creating pictures for children's books. Colon has illustrated several highly acclaimed picture books including the New York Times bestselling Angela and the Baby Jesus by Frank McCourt and Susanna Reich's Jose! Born to Dance.
