Tarrant County officials will conduct a public hearing Wednesday evening in Fort Worth to review proposed new districts for the four county commissioners. The districts are adjusted every 10 years to accommodate population growth and shifts following the US Census. The hearing is at 7 pm on the fifth floor of the County Administration Building, 100 E. Weatherford St. |

Operation Graduation Needs Your Support | |
The AISD will host its 2nd annual Operation Graduation Walk this fall, a collaborative effort with the goal of increasing the graduation rate of Arlington students. Volunteers are needed for the event on Saturday, September 10 from 8 am to noon.
Participants will walk or drive to the homes of students who were enrolled in spring 2010, but did not return to complete their diploma. To volunteer, please fill out the registration form here. The deadline to register is August 26. |
