Hike and Bike Plan Final Approval Tuesday | |

The City Council is set to consider final approval of the Hike and Bike plan at Tuesday night's meeting. The Chamber of Commerce supports approval of a bike plan as a step toward improving the livability of the city's neighborhoods and downtown area.
Because this plan continues to be a source of controversy for some in the community, please contact your council members to express support. Most final approval votes are routine, but this issue has been contentious for several months and there is a chance that final approval might be delayed until later in August.
The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at the Municipal Building, 101 W. Abram Street, in the Council Chambers. You can view the agenda here. |
