Greetings!

The picture of women's heart health in New Zealand.....

  • 5084 Kiwi women died of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart disease and stroke, in 2009
  • That's around 14 women dying on average every day. Close to 100 a week.
  • Sadly 658 women died of breast cancer in 2009.
  • But let's not lose sight that more than 7x the number of women died of cardiovascular disease.
  • Of those deaths, 2514 women died of coronary heart disease
  • That about 7 a day - 48 a week
  • Cardio Vascular Disease made up almost 35 percent of all deaths in women in 2009 - that's reason enough to get women banding together and tackling this killer head on.
  • Women who smoke risk having a heart attack 19 years earlier than non-smoking women.
  • Nearly two-thirds of the deaths from heart attacks in women occur among those who have no history of chest pain.
  • 42% of women who have heart attacks die within 1 year, compared to 24% of men.
  • Under age 50, women's heart attacks are twice as likely as men's to be fatal.

 90 DAY GOAL PLANNING WORKSHOP

Are you lacking motivation, need some direction, or someone to hold you accountable to your goals?

Without knowing where you want to end up, how can you expect to get there? "If you plan to go nowhere, then you are sure to end up there" This is a chance for you to properly set your 90 day goals so that you establish the road map to achieve your desired goal and be looking fit and fabulous for Christmas.

Read this testimonial from a client who set a goal last Christmas to ride the Otago Rail Trail....

"Thanks Sally. I am fitter and healthier, in fact I now weigh 78 kilos, 1 kilo to go and I am at my doctors goal weight of 77 kilos, I have been teetering on 78 for weeks now so I have to loose a kilo before Christmas as that was my goal.  John and I and my brother and his partner have booked the Otago rail trail for next April and really looking forward to that.

Thank you for giving Lisa and I the courage to transform ourselves into healthier fitter people, it's all thanks to you Sally and your commitment to peoples well being and belief in themselves"

FITNESS FIX STAR OF THE WEEK

The fitness star of the week award goes to Renata Mathewson. Renata started  the 12 week on line get firm & foxy programme last week. Renata is based on the other side of Auckland city, but wanted some accountability and help with her 1/2 marathon training programme.

I helped Renata get creative so she could fit in some extra training sessions into her busy week of juggling work and family simply by planning her week better.

To top off her week, Renata ran a 10km race on Sunday as part of her 1/2 marathon preparation... way to go Renata, in the rain, mud and wind!

Jay

Hi my name is Jay Hargreaves.

I am a hair and beauty specialist with over 20 years experience.

As a modern woman in today's world, I am only too aware that women often put themselves last and Frazzled Fran takes over! I am also aware that when we look good, we feel good, we achieve more and there is no more Frazzled Fran.

I am passionate about helping you be the best version of who you are through a hair and beauty makeover.

Getting to a salon is not always practical. So I come to you. Wherever you are, whenever suits you.  Your home, your office or even Sally's Fitness Fix studio.

Contact me today and mention Frazzled Fran and I will

. Book you in for a cut and blow dry

. Send you my DVD "How to Get Out the Door in 10mins with a JHB makeup routine"

. Put you in the draw for a hair and makeup make over valued at $250.00

I look forward to hearing from you
