Research from the Children's Alliance
2010/2011 Kids Count Data book
Did you know that 56, 000 Granite State children and youth-or one in five- between the ages of five and nineteen have a diagnosable mental health disorder?

The Children's Alliance is a founding member of the collaborative developing a behavioral health plan to address barriers and improve outcomes for children.

The future prosperity of New Hampshire depends on our ability to foster the health and well-being of the next generation. Children's mental health- their social emotional health and well-being- is fundamental to their overall health.

Election 2012

The Children's Alliance is ramping up our elections advocacy campaign. From October 1 to Election Day on November 6 check out The Children's Alliance  Facebook and Twitter sites to get engaged in kids issues.

Look for daily postings on child-focused topics with questions for you to ask candidates as well as  "Letter To the Editor " templates. This week our focus is on children's health and wellness. Next week the focus is safety. Use these questions and templates to ensure that you know where each candidate stands on issues of importance to kids and their families.

Check out our electoral advocacy page and watch Facebook for updates and help spread awareness and candidate accountability by sharing this information with your networks.
