Greetings!
I went outside this morning and immediately took a picture to substitute for the one I was previously going to send with the newsletter. Who would not want to be out today on such a beautiful day after this crazy weekend? When we speak on health and wellness we are not only speaking on physical attributes and losing weight. Having a balance and taking time to be mentally and emotionally sound and satisfied is key to a healthy lifestyle. Stress and lack of sleep can contribute to weight gain and bad health issues just as unhealthy eating can. Take the time to enjoy the 'scenery' and make time for yourself. Your body will thank you!

Twice a week, Tues and Thurs join us for an intense 60 minute session of plyometrics, circuit training, strength training, speed, agility, and others. A great way to bring your day to a close after a long or stressful 9-5. WARRIOR BRIGADE Weekend warrior is back. 90 minutes of pure intense outdoor drama migrating throughout all the major parks and open spaces we can conquer in the city. We may run, sprint, climb stairs, hurdle logs, perform push ups, pull ups. It is wide open and you'll never know what to expect. But expect to be challenged to the mas and each workout is programmed for the true warrior. SHOE CAMP High impact workouts a problem for you? Maybe you have recently injured yourself? This program is strength based only. No running or plyometric high impact motion. EASIER? Quite the contrary as each of these workouts will push your muscular endurance and physical strength will little to no rest. In addition, this program utilizes kettlebell training. An efficient way to burn calories in less time engaging your core, legs, arms and cardiovascular strength without your feet leaving the ground. Find out what the kettlebell buzz is about. |

Snack Time Smart Snack Mix
Many people ask for on the go snacks. Here is a healthier alternative to your typical candy bar with some good fats and fruit. A little sweet and salty for that 'sweet and salty' fix.

INGREDIENTS
6 cups Corn Chex
2 cups salted peanuts 1/3 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup Smart Balance 50/50 Omega-3 Butter Blend, cubed 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 6 ounce bag dried cranberries
DIRECTIONS 1. In a large microwave safe bowl, mix cereal and peanuts.
2. In a small microwave safe bowl, combine syrup butter, sugar, salt and nutmeg. Microwave on high for one minute.
3. Pour butter mixture over cereal and stir well totally coated.
4. Microwave on high for 5-6 minutes stirring every minute so as not to burn. You only want it to be lightly browned.
5. Stir in cranberries.
6. Let stand in bowl to cool.
