$500 Grants for Service Projects |
|
 The Alaska Initiative for Community Engagement (AKICE) wants to give you or your youth group money to help complete a service project. Eligible projects will involve youth-adult partnerships that plan and implement community-based service activities.

Act fast-the deadline for applications is January 31st, 2012.
Tell AKICE what you would like to do for your community and you may have an opportunity to receive up to $500 to help you to do it!

YSA Seeks "The 25 Most Powerful & Influential Young People" |
|
Youth Serve America (YSA) is launching the inaugural YSA List of "The 25 Most Powerful and Influential Young People" in celebration of their 25th Anniversary.
The YSA List will recognize 25 young people (ages 5 - 25) around the world that have made significant, large-scale change in Health, Education, Human Service, Human Rights, and the Environment.
Winners will be announced on Global Youth Service Day 2012 (April 20-22).
The 25 winners will receive $1,000 awards to support their ongoing efforts to change the world.
