Summer Leadership Institute 2011 |

The UAF School of Management presents the 2011 Summer Leadership Institute. Applications are being accepted now for the May 31-June 6, 2011 program. The course is a one-week summer experience designed to develop leadership skills for students finishing grades 9-12. Students live on campus, enjoy the academic and social atmosphere and get a taste of college life. The deadline for application is April 10, 2011 (Preference given to those who apply by March 15.) | Green Your School Challenge |

From now through April 1 you can sign up and participate in Do Something's Green Your School Competition. Make a plan to protect the environment and fight climate change through your school and report back to Do Something for a chance to win an HP laptop or a $1,000 to $5,000 grant. |

AASG Spring Conference in Cordova
|
|
The Alaska Association of Student Governments' Spring Conference will take place April 14-16 in Cordova.
Many workshops will be centered around topics and issues connected to the Cordova environment including birds, kayaking, fishing, hiking, environmental concerns and more. There will also be a suicide prevention training and the winner of the suicide prevention contest will be announced. Register before March 15 and the rate is only $110.
