June is going to be a busy month around here at Anatometal headquarters! Our annual trip to the APP Conference in Las Vegas is right around the corner! Will we see you there? Come stop by our booth and say hi! On June 28th we are also celebrating International Body Piercing Day. This holiday was created as a way to promote safety & education, it is also Jim Ward's birthday. Don't know who Jim Ward is? Check out the back issues of our newsletter and know your history! If you are a shop participating in the festivities, have you requested buttons yet? Make sure to let us know how many you need. First come first serve! Are you a piercee who will be celebrating? We know how much you love your Anatometal and what it stands for: handcrafted right here in the USA, made with only the highest quality materials. There is so much that goes into each piece as it moves from our machine shop, to the polishing room, to the gold room, through quality assurance, packaging, and to our shipping department. We thought you would like to get to know the people who make that Gemmed Eyelet, Heart Navel Curve, and Nostril Screw possible! In the coming months, we will be invading all the departments here at Anatometal Headquarters and bringing our hard workers right to you!

Anatometal: What do you do here at Anatometal?
Oliver: I am a hack machinist *laughs* Nah... I am a machinist though.
Anatometal: How long have you worked for Anatometal?
Oliver: Ummm about 6 years now
Anatometal: What is your favorite piece that Anatometal makes?
Oliver: Oh... I would have to say our Super Ellipse Eyelets, the shape is natural and comfortable. They also look good in-ear.
Anatometal: Tell us three things about yourself.
Oliver: Ok. I like motorcycles, I like guns, and I like cutting metal. That's three right?
Anatometal: Ninjas or Pirates?
Oliver: Oooohhh.... Ninjas.

Zirconia VS. Crystals
|
Here at Anatometal we use only the best and safest materials we can find to manufacture our jewelry. When it comes to gemstones, we stick with Swarovski Gems and Swarovski Zirconia but often get questions about the difference between what we set in our jewelry and Swarovski Crystals.
