putting on the pumpkin this year - triangle eyes a triangle nose and a smile with a couple of teeth - just like every year. I'm sure my kids will want something more exciting this year but I think I'll stick with my proven method of striving for mediocrity.
I certainly won't be going the extra mile this year, but if you want to experiment a bit, check out Pumpkin Gutter. This guy is WAY beyond triangle eyes and a mouth. You can learn the tricks of the trade, get some ideas or just take a look at some of the incredible stuff he's done over the years. I hope my kids never find this site because they might raise the bar on me next year....

Teeth are Overrated
The kids will get enough candy on Halloween to last a couple months so what's the harm in adding a little more sugar to their diets? The Food Network has a very unique pancake recipe to say the least. Go ahead and try Pumpkin Pancakes with Root Beer Syrup , Caramelized Bananas and Cinnamon Whipped Cream.

Sure it might be a bit on the sweet side, but what could be better the morning after a long night of trick or treating?
