Greetings!

Many who know me are aware that that I'm passionate about photography and writing and that each merge and find expression at my blog called News From An Acorn. Now, to make things easier and more enjoyable for my readers, I've begun this newsletter called Acorns image of acorn being heldEverywhere! As the subtitle suggests, my goal, and with contributions by others, is to share some of the nuggets, tools, inspiration and whimsy that help us all find our way through the day.

Acorns Everywhere! features pieces that inspire, inform and we hope, will make you smile. Editions are totally free and will slide into your inbox monthly (give or take a week or two!). And, fear not, this light little volume won't promote spam, global warming, tooth decay or weight gain. Guest authors, like Tara Mitchell, are also featured to stir things up for fun and variety.

So now's your chance to say "yes" and receive something useful and enjoyable that doesn't cost a thing, won't nag you to buy stuff...ever! And what's the "catch," you ask? It's hard to believe, I know, but there isn't one. Just me, (and selected guests) sharing as way opens.

My hope is that you will accept my invitation to "opt-in" and subscribe today to Acorns Everywhere! (You must sign-up to receive future editions. See lower left, below. It's easy, painless and takes just a minute...honest!)

Thanks, and welcome
Kevin Lee

Tara's Musings
(Guest Author)
Pic of Tara's family"Slip and Slide," to me is nostalgic, good clean fun. To my four year old son, it's a race, an adventure, a great reason to run and screech, leap and skid and get good and drenched... and of course, covered in grass! But to my two year old daughter, it's less like "Slip and Slide" and more like "slip and fall down."

"Mama, this frip and fride hurted my buuuuuuuns!" she wails after attempting a high speed strut instead of a belly flop slide.

Having children is something like being on a treasure hunt without the map, or any clue

A little fun while driving...

image of acorn being held We all spend way to much time in traffic, and the other day I was thinking about dozing grannies, truck nuts and lobotomies. Come on, you know you want to read it here.

Uplifting, inspirational and sometimes fun!

The letterIt's interesting how musings from Walt Whitman, Dave Barry and Charles Schultz can somehow merge on the same topic! Enjoy these quotes!
