Pet of the Month
Cesar
Cesar was the very first participant for Stem Cell Therapy in our clinic! His stem cell therapy went well, but he recently started having issues with his kidneys. We wish him well as he is regaining his strength.
Kitty of the Month

Beau is a diabetic kitty who has recently gone through a rough patch and had to stay in the hospital with us for a few days. As sad as we were to see him leave the hospital, we are happy that he is feeling better!

Greetings!
The summer is definitely upon us, regardless of what the calendar says! Please make sure to read our article below on Summer Pet Care and visit AAHA's Healthy Pet Website for more information! The website is full of great information for pet owners. You can also find out what it means to be AAHA accredited and why that sets us apart from other clinics.
Keep Your Pets Safe This Summer
When the lazy days of summer roll around, you can make them even better by sharing them with your favorite pets! These hot days are hard on pets, so remember your pet's safety and comfort as you enjoy these hot days. Heatstroke is a very real concern for pets during the summer and can be fatal if not treated as an emergency. Go to AAHA's Healthy Pet Website for tips about how to keep your pet safe this summer!
Something new to look forward to...
We would like to announce to you that we have a new digital dental radiograph machine! Now when your pet comes into our office for an oral assessment, we will also perform oral radiographs, just like your dentist does at your biannual visits. You may be wondering, what in the world is an oral assessment? An oral assessment is what has previously been called a dental or a dental cleaning. In reality, we are doing much more than just cleaning your pet's teeth! In an oral assessment, we are also assessing the health of your pet's mouth and are looking under the gumline, as well as evaluating the tissue structures of the mouth. When you pick your pet up after their oral assessment, we will show you the radiographs of their mouth so you can see what we are seeing! If you would like more information, please contact the office or visit www.eoah.com/dentistry.html.

Save $30
Between now and July 31, 2010, save $30 when you purchase a 12 pack of Sentinel for your pet!

Recently we have updated our recommendation for flea and heartworm prevention! We now recommend Sentinel as the one true flea preventative and heartworm product in a single tablet. Sentinel prevents flea eggs from hatching and flea larvae from growing so that they do not have the opportunity to grow into adult fleas! These two stages of the flea life cycle account for 85% of the fleas in your environment. If you destroy the eggs and larvae, you destroy the fleas! Occasionally an additional product may be needed for adult fleas, but Sentinel will take care of the rest for you, as well as fighting heartworms and intestinal parasites. Contact our office or visit our website for more information!
