The Leukemia Cup Regatta begins Saturday morning and concludes with a post-race Crew Party from 1600-1900 at the Eastport Yacht Club. Registration is due on Wednesday 30 May so enter today!

 

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of this event everyone is also invited to enjoy the Seersucker & Linen Summer Gala & Auction on Friday 1 June from 1830 to 2100 at the Annapolis Yacht Club. 

 

Tickets to the Gala are $85 each and Crew Party are $35.

TED OSIUS MEMORIAL REGATTA

Sailing Club of the Chesapeake

The Sailing Club of the Chesapeake is pleased to announce that registration for the Ted Osius Memorial Regatta is open and any class with more than 4 entrants will be given a start. The regatta will be a one day event held on Sunday 10 June followed by a party with awards presentation. Check the NOR (also found in the Green Book) for details and remember to enter before Wednesday 6 June. SCC organizers are looking forward to providing competitors with fine racing and a cordial social event.

SOUTHERN CHESAPEAKE LEUKEMIA CUP REGATTA
Voted Best Regatta on the Bay!

Event organizers are proud to report that the Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta was voted "Best Regatta on the Bay" by readers of Chesapeake Bay Magazine.  They have planned a season of excellence for 2012 also.  Next up is the exciting Sail-a-thon fundraiser at Fishing Bay Yacht Club on Thursday 21 June. 

 

The regatta weekend will start with a reception on the evening of Friday 6 July.  Racing will be held on Saturday 7 July and Sunday 8 July.  There will be a gala Saturday night including live and silent acutions.  Sunday will conclude with an awards ceremony following racing.

GOVERNOR'S CUP

St. Mary's College Sailing Association

Online registration for the St. Mary's College of Maryland 2012 Governor's Cup Yacht Race is now available via the Governor's Cup website! Racing is scheduled to begin Friday 3 August and finishing sometime on Saturday 4 August, but all the details can be found at http://www.smcm.edu/govcup/.

 

Due to popular demand, there will be a Potomac Leg of the Governor's Cup this year! Racers will start near Dahlgren and sail down to the 'A' marker at the mouth of the Potomac, dovetailing into the finish approaching the St. Mary's River mark 'SM'!

KIDS CORNER

TAYC Annual Junior Regatta

Please note that this year Tred Avon Yacht Club is holding the Annual Junior Regatta on Sunday 1 July in conjunction with the Summer One Design Invitational.  Each sailor's registration includes a t-shirt, continental breakfast, and bag lunch.  After racing, there will be a family BBQ dinner.  The NOR can be found on http://www.tayc.com.
