There are 100 boats planning to race from Annapolis to Miles River on Saturday and just a couple days left to register for the WRSC Miles River Race Back on Sunday 27 May.
On top of the great racing the trophies will be awarded at the WRSC Poplar Island after race Crab Feast on Saturday 07 July.

ANNAPOLIS LEUKEMIA CUP | | |
20th Anniversary Celebration
Join the festivities at the Seersucker & Linen Summer Gala & Auction on Friday 1 June from 1830 - 2100 at the Annapolis Yacht Club. Everyone is invited to enjoy Summer cocktails, wine, beer, elegant hors d'oeuvres, entertainment by Orlando Phillips and a live and silent auction.
The Leukemia Cup Regatta begins Saturday morning and concludes with a post-race Crew Party from 1600-1900 at the Eastport Yacht Club featuring The Matt McConville Band.

| US SAILING SINGLEHANDED CHAMPIONSHIP | | |
Area C Elimination Event
This spring the 2012 US Sailing Singlehanded Championship Area C Elimination will be a one-day event in Lasers held at Surf City Yacht Club in Surf City, New Jersey on Saturday 2 June. It will be held in conjunction with the 41st Orange Coffee Pot Regatta. The top man and woman will qualify to sail in the US Singlehanded Championship on 26-29 July at Sail Sheboygan in Sheboygan WI.
The US Singlehanded Championship is a regatta run each year by US Sailing consisting of the best singlehanded sailors from around the country. 24 Men will compete in the standard rig while 24 women compete in the Radial rig. Sailors can win a berth by being the winner of one of several major Laser Regattas, by being the National Champion in the Sunfish, Finn and MC Scow Classes, or by winning an area qualifier.
To be selected for the Singlehanded Championship Sailors must be 16 years of age, a US Sailing Member and to qualify from Area C, must regularly compete in the CBYRA area. For more information go online to the District 11 Laser site. |

AYC Junior Sailing Summer Program
The AYC Junior Fleet's mission is to provide a fun and educational program for youth interested in sailing and racing. They seek to impart a love of sailing as a life sport while providing the fundamental skills necessary for participants to advance in the sport of sailing as far as their desire, skill, and hard work may take them.
AYC is committed to maintaining a safe and positive environment for young people ages 5 to 15 years old. All participants in the program must pass a swim test on the first day of instruction. Each sailor must provide and wear a USCG approved personal flotation device (PFD) and whistle at all times while on the water.
