CRAB BENEFIT REGATTA
Eastport Yacht Club

Register now for one of two fun, unique, pursuit-start style races combined into a single great day on the water on Saturday 27 August. Both races are followed by a rollicking party at EYC with live music, food, and drink. If non-spinnaker sailing is your style, enter PHRF N in the Boatyard Bar & Grill Regatta. If you want to go all out in a team effort, enter the Battle class to help your club win the Battle of the Chesapeake. Either way money raised will benefit CRAB.

Register online at race.eastportyc.org by Friday 19 August if you need a courtesy PHRF rating or Tuesday 23 August for boats with a valid PHRF certificate.

CEDAR POINT RACE
Gibson Island Yacht Squadron

The 2011 edition of the Cedar Point Race will be a bit shorter than the original run in 1929 which went from Baltimore Light to Cedar Point and back, a distance of about 100 miles.

This year's start will be to the southeast of Baltimore Light.  The intended rounding mark is Morse (A) west of Sharp's Island Light, and the finish will be at Region 3 mark X (R2) off of Annapolis. The course length will be adjusted to the weather conditions for all competitors, and slower yachts may be given a shorter course than faster ones.

View the Sailing Instructions online and enter at gibsonisland.com/yachtsquadron/race-regattas/registration-info by Saturday 27 August.
