| SOLOMONS ISLAND INVITATIONAL | | |
Eastport Yacht Club
Time is running short so go to race.eastportyc.org to register and order the official 2011 shirts. The Solomons Island Invitational Race begins at 1845 on Friday 15 July, in the Severn River in front of the EYC clubhouse, and finishes in the wee hours on the Patuxent River near Solomons Island. Post-race festivities begin at the Holiday Inn in Solomons with Bloodies for 2 Bucks at 0600 Saturday and go on through the day, with food and music on the patio and awards around 1600.
There's a full moon that night, so it could be a truly spectacular sail so sign up before Wednesday 13 July! |

| STINGRAY POINT REGATTA | | |
Fishing Bay Yacht Club
FBYC announces a dramatically enhanced Stingray Point Regatta on September 2, 3 & 4 as a first class sailing event and fun weekend for all. Classes invited are PHRF Spin, PHRF Non Spin, J105, and Cruising. The Regatta will be sailed over three days and have daily awards Friday and Saturday. On Sunday the class awards will be given along with the Brent Halsey Jr. Memorial Trophy and the Potts Southern Bay Challenge Cup. Sailing on Friday is not mandatory; get all the details online at www.stringraypointregatta.org.
Social events include a poolside cocktail party Friday night, a buffet dinner and live entertainment. Saturday after the cocktail party racers will be served table side under the tent before daily awards are given followed by a great band and dancing. On Sunday, enjoy the pool and an old fashion Labor Day Cookout coupled with the final awards ceremony. |

Donor Appreciation
Thank you for your generosity in June: Reserve Fund provides a means to support projects and programs of special merit or need.
Regatta Support Fund is provides seed money or a budget booster to Regattas, of any CBYRA sanctioned class or classes, held at a member Club.
Fund for Chesapeake Sailors provides grants to member sailors campaigning for the Olympics, National or International regattas and championships.
