Racing to Raise Funds
The sailing weekend begins on Friday 10 June with the SunTrust Sailor's Launch Party hosted at the Annapolis Maritime Museum from 1800 to 2100. The $35 per person admission includes complimentary beer, wine and hors d'oevres. Everyone is invited and you are encouraged to bring friends and family.
On Saturday 11 June, the regatta participants will rendezvous at 1100 and the second annual J/80 Fun Race and Launch Lunch will also take place. The All Hand Crew Party will follow racing and be held at the Eastport Yacht Club from 1600 to 2200. The regatta party will feature food, libations, live dance music by Mid Life Crisis, and an awards ceremony. Tickets are available for $35 per person.
Register online at race.eastportyc.org by 1900 on 8 June. Advance weekend social tickets can be purchased at a discount. Individuals can save $10 and couples save $40 so order today. |
| NERYC INVITATIONAL | |

Saturday 11 June
North East River Yacht Club invites all racers North of the Bay Bridge to their annual Invitational on Saturday 11 June. The race is sanction 103 and a High Point qualifier for sailors from Regions 1 and 2. The format is a distance race incorporating region marks. Starts available for PHRF A, B, C and N as well as a non-high point Multihull start and an open Cruising class.
The compitition is followed by a festive pig roast/BBQ and tent party back at NERYC with free docking for racers. The NERYC Invitational boasts a great venue, excellent event management, generous sponsors, a fun party, prizes/skipper's bags & race t-shirts.
