Why is SRVCC Tweeting, being LinkedIn and Facebooking?
A new generation of business professionals is emerging and bringing with them is a new method of communication that has gone viral. Tweeting, being LinkedIn, tagging, buzzing, sharing, digging and blogging are a few among hundreds of social networking sites keeping us connected to each other.
So, how can these sites help a business and why should businesses and people share thoughts and interests on these sites rather than rely on standard business advertising practices?
For the San Ramon Valley Conference Center the choice was simple; either get involved or be left behind.
Distinct lines that formerly separated personal and business lives are dwindling. A useful tip for those who are already involved in the online community, is to be aware of every word posted on these networks. Once submitted or posted, the information is available to anyone to re-tweet (RT), share and re-post within seconds.
If you only have time to join a few sites, these are our favorite...
LinkedIn:
This site is like an electronic Rolodex and will find you new connections. Facebook: Here we reconnect with our friends, colleagues and clients.
Twitter: The perfect place to get your message to the masses in 140 characters or fewer.
