Green is the new pink
This Valentine's Day, we encourage you to rethink the way you celebrate. Executive Chef Sedro Cawaling has passed along one of his favorite recipes Sweetheart Chocolate Dipped Organic Strawberries just in time to stop by your local Farmer's Market and make your loved ones a decadent, organic treat.
At the San Ramon Valley Conference Center, we are doing business with our green foot forward. Tourism is estimated to account for 5% of man-made waste (1.75 billion tons annually). As one of only four conference centers or hotels in Contra Costa County to earn the Bay Area Green Business Certification, we are doing our best to reduce this number by continually implementing new green initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint. Sustainability is an integral part of our values-driven business at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center.
A newly formed on-site corporate social responsibility team will cultivate new ways for our property to operate sustainably and increase involvement in our community. Have a suggestion? Feel free to Contact us. For a comprehensive list of our green practices click here.
