Principal's Message

Hello Einstein Families,

Our new soccer equipment finally arrived! On Monday, parent Kari Haegele and I introduced the new equipment and expectations for playing soccer at school. Students had a great time and really impressed us with their school appropriate soccer! With the addition of this equipment and the equipment PTSA recently donated, kids have a lot of fun things to do during recess!

In other exciting news, our Kindergarten classes did a canned food drive to celebrate the 100th day of school recently. They were able to collect over 400 cans total. Last Thursday, they loaded the cans up to be delivered to Hopelink. The Redmond Reporter covered the special event; here is the link to the story. We are very proud of them for their effort and their generosity!

Have a great weekend!

Melissa Pointer, Principal

** SCHOOL NEWS **

Join us for the Science Expo on March 24

It's coming! You don't want to miss it!

Cool Science

Thursday, March 24th from 6:30-8:00pm will be a night of fun filled, hands-on science at the Einstein Science Expo. Bring everyone in your family to learn interesting science facts from student projects, interact with science experts, and explore hands on science activities that will be wet, wild, and wacky.

The Noise Guy is coming March 25

Don't miss the Zany Czar of Sound! If it sounds like a duck and walks like a duck; it must be a duck, right? Well, maybe not! Charlie Williams is "The Noiseguy", a vocal sound impressionist who can imitate the sound of seaplanes, ocean liners and foghorns. He will be entertaining Einstein at the school assembly on March 25th. Parents are always welcome to attend. The assembly will run from 9:15-10:15am.

News from our 3rd Grade Teachers

Third grade will be finished with African-American research reports next month. We are learning reading strategies that will familiarize the students with MSP question styles. We are also busy memorizing the geography of the 50 United States. Science fair projects will be displayed on March 24 at the Science Fair. Each class has been working with the Scientific Method as we get our projects ready for the fair! Problem Solving strategies, multiplication, and division are keeping the students busy in math. The 3rd graders continue to impress their teacher with their friendly ways and great attitudes!
