Principal's Message
Dear Parents,

Our Veterans Day assemby is Wednesday, November 10th at 1:10 pm.  This is a time each year when all schools take the opportunity to honor those who have served in our nation's armed forces.  The Einstein Choir will perform for the first time and we will have a slide show planned as part of the recognition of our service men and women.  This would be a great time for families to take a few minutes and talk about family members who have served; a great way to bring history alive with real family stories.

Thanks,

Karen Bates, Principal

Boo Grams

Boo Grams raised $125 to support the Einstein Success Fund.  Special thanks to Mrs. Crane, as well as Mrs. Ollerenshaw's student teachers, David Repyak and Sheela Cabilling, who helped the 5th graders run the Boo Gram store. All the classes had fun getting Boo'ed during Halloween week!

Veterans Day Assembly

Next Wednesday, November 10th, from 1:10 - 1:45 pm, Einstein will hold an assembly to celebrate Veterans Day. The Einstein choir will perform several special songs dedicated to our veterans and soldiers. Family and friends are always welcome to join us at any school assembly.

Reminder: Veterans Day is Thursday, November 11th, and there is no school that day.

Read how to help with Childhood Stress & Anxiety

Talking about stress, it's a very current topic. That concern was highlighted even more when more than the expected number of parents showed up to the presentation on Nov 2nd.

But don't worry if you missed it. Presented material and helpful hints can be found here at our website. Learn how to parent your anxious child with mindfulness and acceptance, including Dr. McCurry's recommended breathing and relaxation exercises. More information on upcoming LWSD PTSA parenting education classes can be found here.
