Principal's Message
Dear Families,

In a district meeting this week Superintendent, Dr. Chip Kimball, told us that as of September 7th, the district grew by 614 students this year over last year.  Many schools in the district are crowded and in some cases qualify for additional teachers, but do not have classroom space.  The district will begin holding public input nights to gather information from the public about how to accommodate the growing population in the district. Why this is important for our community is that Einstein Elementary is projected to be a school which will become overcrowded in the next few years.  I am encouraging everyone to participate in this input process so that you are aware of the growth trends and have a voice in solutions that are being proposed.

Public Input Nights

Workshop format: come in any time during the hours scheduled to get information, ask questions, take the survey and make comments.

Tuesday, Sept. 28, Eastlake H.S., 6-8 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 30, Juanita H.S., 6-8 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 6, Resource Center, 5-7 p.m.

Thanks,
Karen Bates, Principal

Our students are using it at home and school, with a reported 13,000 hits since we began the subscription in May. Details on how you can access the site's resources will be provided to your children. Keep checking back to see what they have to offer and practice reading, math and science at home!
