Dear Families,
Where did the nice weather go? Just a few reminders this week or "Nuts and Bolts".
It is so important we have as much time with children as possible each day. To that end, please try to schedule as many appointments as possible on Wednesday afternoons or after school hours and make sure children arrive on time each morning. Our goal is to make each day essential to students' learning.
Now to busses... Our enrollment is up and our bus ridership has increased this year. Our busses have been over crowded in the afternoon and children have been arriving home late after school. We are in the process of resolving the overcrowding (hopefully by the time you read this) so that our busses are safe and children arrive home in a timely manner.
Thanks,
Karen Bates, Principal
Albert Einstein Elementary

How you can help | |
This year our PTSA continues to work hard to build our sense of community and to involve all the families at our school. Here are some key ways you can help us to achieve our goal: 1) Volunteer - consider pledging two hours of your time this year and really make a difference. 2) Join - become a member of the PTSA and make your voice heard. 3) Contribute - donate to our Pass the Hat campaign because every dollar counts. 4) Outreach - help us to connect with every member of our Einstein community. We want to build a diverse community that is united in our mission to offer the best educational experience for all of our children! |
|
Pass The Hat - Every dollar counts! |
After the first week of school, we have collected $8200, or 55% of our goal of $15,000. $65 per student will help us reach our goal, but EVERY dollar helps!!! Your money can go even further with corporate matching. If you are a Microsoft Employee, go to http://give and follow the instructions for submitting a new request. Please fill out the green Pass the Hat forms in your first day packet. Extra forms are available in the office or at our PTSA website. For those who have already contributed, WE THANK YOU!! |
|
PCC Cards - Limited Supply left | |
PCC cards are great for your everyday shopping or used as gift cards. The PTSA is selling preloaded PCC cards for $25.00, every time you reload your card at PCC, Einstein gets 5% donated back to us. Order forms can be found at the PTSA website. If you have any questions, please contact Donna Muench. |
