 Mr. Tobin's Weekly Message
Einstein Families and Einstein Staff,

Grade Level Configuration and Feeder Pattern Changes Announced:

Earlier this week our superintendent, Dr. Kimball, announced upcoming changes to the grade level configuration in the Lake Washington School District. Beginning in the fall of the 2012-13 school year we will see a change in the three different levels of schools that serve our students. Elementary schools will serve students in grades K-5, we will have Middle Schools serving 6-8th grade students and we will move to a 4 year high school model.

Another change for students in the Einstein attendance area is that beginning in the 2012-13 school year, we will feed into what will become Redmond Middle School, currently Redmond Junior High. Students in our attendance area will continue to feed to Redmond High School.

There is more information about these changes on the LWSD website and Dr. Kimball will be in the Library at Einstein on Thursday, May 27th at 6:30pm to share more information and to answer questions about these changes.

Thanks,
Jack M. Tobin

Thank you to all the Volunteers

The PTSA would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped with the school clean up. It was great to see so many families working together and the school looks beautiful.
A special thank you to Ingrid Munck for all her hard work in making this event happen, in addition to her
work with classic books and the art docent program.

The PTSA would also like to thank Madhu Movva for all the work she has done in the classroom, spelling club,
International night and membership.

Thank you to those who organized and brought all the delicious food for the teacher appreciation
lunch on Wed. We know the teachers felt appreciated and full!

Sorry if we have missed out any International Night volunteer names in last week's Ottermail. Special thanks also go to Mrs. Crane for being a big part of the planning committee, and involved in coordinating the students' work, and Deva Demeter who helped with the beautiful artwork display.

We are grateful at this busy time of year to have so many wonderful volunteers at Einstein!
