Mr. Tobin's Weekly Message

Einstein Families and Einstein Staff,

Math Adoption Committee Continues Piloting Curriculum Resources
In the fall, we will be getting new math materials in all K-5 classrooms! I have served on the Math Adoption Committee which has been working on this project for the past two school years. We are currently in the piloting stage of the process. There are two programs still being considered: Math Connects and enVision Math.  Teachers in all schools in the district and at different grade levels are piloting the materials this spring. At Einstein, materials are being used in the third grade. I have been working closely with Ms. Benzel and Ms. Nichols and have even had the opportunity to teach a few lessons. We wrapped up the pilot of Math Connects last week and will begin piloting enVision Math after Spring Break.

More information about the Math Adoption Committee is available at the LWSD website link.

Have a wonderful Spring Break!
