Mr. Tobin's Weekly Message |
Einstein Families and Einstein Staff,
Parent Input Needed - Elementary Math Adoption! There is still the chance to give your input on the Elementary Math Adoption that is currently underway. This is extremely important work and will impact our elementary school students for the next decade.
There is one more meeting on January 26, 2010 at Frost Elementary School at 7 p.m. For those of you who cannot attend, the materials are available to review at the Resource Center at Redmond Town Center and there is an on-line input form available on the district website. Please take the time to give your input. Have a great weekend!

| Battle of the Books |
|
Einstein is participating this year in the " Battle of the Books"! This program aims at promoting reading literature at Einstein. Thanks to Ms Sandbo, our Einstein Librarian, for organizing this!
Message from Ms Sandbo:
The Einstein 4th, 5th and 6th graders have "Battled" at lunch time for 2 weeks. There were a total of nine teams and they worked their way through double elimination. The sportsmanship was outstanding and it was a most enjoyable time for me. The winning team; The Green Pandas (Hannah Sullivan, Katrina Teo, Elle Demeter and Karley Deegan), will go on to the district online battles during the first week of February. Congratulations to all 36 Einstein Students who participated in the Battle. You all were great to watch and fun to work with. Parents should be proud of the level of motivation and perseverance these students exhibited. They REALLY knew their books! |
