Nutrition At Your Fingertips is a
CPE Course!
Hello all,

I've missed you!  Over the last two weeks, I've enjoyed some wonderful vacation time--a little rest, some relaxation, and lots of fun activities with my family (not to mention great long power walks in gorgeous weather). I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and some downtime with family and friends as well. For those of you who face health or other challenges, I hope that you'll continue to see the light in even the darkest situations, prepare for the worst but always hope and pray for the best (as my mother always says), and help those who love you help you through whatever it is you're going through.

This week's ZIED GUIDE newsletter is jam packed with great soup recipes (and a new book review), key foods to include in the New Year and beyond, tips for what to eat if vending machine cuisine is your only option, and the skinny on calories...so without further ado, I invite you to read on!

Until next time,

Elisa

Foods for a New Year

Here's an idea for 2012...instead of saying that you're going to give up this food or that food, how about thinking about what you'll add to your diet! Here's a great roundup of top foods picked by registered dietitians in a USA Today Nutrition Nation blog

Vending Machine Cuisine

Are you, for whatever reason, forced to eat from a vending machine? If you are, don't despair. There are more healthful picks. Check out some expert recommendations (including mine) on Today.com
