Are you an RD?
Nutrition At Your Fingertips is a
CPE Course!
Hello all,

Can you believe Thanksgiving is almost here?
Hope you all find time to relax and enjoy delicious food, and more importantly, enjoy much needed downtime with friends and family. Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday, and we'll be cooking dinner out in East Hampton, Long Island (my mom is making the turkey and stuffing, and I'm making the sides--stuffing, Brussels sprouts made with cipollini onions and a touch of bacon, and sweet potato french fries, yum!). I hope you and yours have a wonderful week and take time to count your many blessings.

In this week's newsletter you'll find out how to snack smart while traveling. You'll also learn how to turn ordinary Thanksgiving leftovers into extraordinarily simple (but delicious) meals and sides thanks to 3 of my favorite foodies, Mollie Katzen, Jackie Newgent, and Dawn Jackson Blatner. You'll also get Robyn Webb's expert culinary tips to help you navigate your own kitchen over the holidays if you have diabetes. (Even if you don't have diabetes, Webb's tips are great for all of us who want to eat well and still feel satisfied.)

Even though the weather is cooling for most of us, I hope you're all staying active and fit. Moving your body each and every day will help keep your mood up--especially important as we have fewer daylight hours to enjoy. And I know exercise is certainly helping me get through my Diet Coke Detox (Day 30 today)!

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Until next time,

Elisa
