Hope you're all having a great week, and that you're finding time to enjoy your summer--whether it's reading a great new book, spending more time with friends or family, or taking better care of yourself.

After a beautiful trip to California, I'm back to the grind (and I say that in a highly positive way, of course). Although I've been keeping very active this summer, I have found that when I set specific weekly goals--like #202040 (20 miles of walking, 20 minutes of abs, and 40 minutes of weight training each week)--I'm more inclined to actually get it done than when I don't set specific goals. So I've resumed goal-setting for this week, and as of today (Thursday, July 21st), I've completed 15.5 miles of walking, 5 minutes of abs, and 20 minutes of weights. Will you join me and set specific goals for physical activity over the next week? If yes, please let me know of your planned commitment for the week on Facebook

or Twitter and use #202040.

In this week's ZIED GUIDE newsletter you'll find lunch box tips and some swaps for favorite "junk foods." You'll also find out how to use food to fight fat.

The ZIED GUIDE newsletter returns on August 1st with some great recipes, interesting posts, and so much more. Until then, stay cool!
