 Hello all,

Hope you had a fantastic (and active) week and weekend and are ready for a fun and food and fitness filled week ahead!

If you or a friend/family member is pregnant, please pass on this week's ZIED GUIDE. It has 3 delicious "pregnancy" recipes that taste great (even for those of us who aren't expecting.) You'll also learn whether or not you really are (or should) eat for two when you're pregnant. On my blog, you'll find Part 2 of Get (& Stay) Sane About Food & Your Body; there you'll find my review of a terrific new book that helps girls learn to say no to diets and to start caring for and loving their bodies.

I also wanted to update you on my Walk A Marathon progress. I'm proud to say that I successfully walked more than 26.2 miles last week--some outside, some on the treadmill. Even though I'm normally very consistent in my exercise routine, from time to time I let work and life get in the way of my exercise. But knowing I'd be accountable not only to myself but to you, my readers, and wanting to raise money for Live Light Live Right really helped me meet (and exceed!) my personal goal. My new week began on Friday, and I've already covered almost 11 miles (4 on Friday, 5-3/4 on Saturday, and 1 on Sunday.) I'll continue to update my progress and hope you'll join me and post your progress as well on twitter and facebook.

Have a great week! And please stay tuned for next week's newsletter that will feature a great interview with a terrific surprise guest, great recipes, and a book giveaway.

Eating for Two?

Read this article on parentdish.com to see if eating for two is really the way to go when you're pregnant. (Please note the article should say I'm a past spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association.)
