Greetings!!
I am SOOOO happy to be back after a nice break spent with my family in beautiful (albeit not so sunny) California. Highlights included the Lakers/Heat game on Christmas Day, visits to Disneyland and Universal (where I haven't been since I was a kid), lunch with friends at The Ivy in Beverly Hills (where they make the best home made chocolate chip cookies I've ever eaten!) and some time in gorgeous Santa Monica. After the northeast blizzard, we know how lucky we were to come home only one day late, just in time for me to have surgery on my wrist. I'm recovering nicely, and fortunately only have one stitch and a soft cast, both of which will be gone on 1/10. While I still can't really use my hand, the pain is bearable, and I look forward to putting this all behind me soon and to get back to usual activities like sports with my kids and upper body weight training. I also decided to celebrate 2011 by training to walk the More magazine half marathon in April. Registration begins on 1/10/11, so let me know if you'd like to join the Zied Guide™ team!
In this week's newsletter, you'll learn which foods are best eaten naked! I'll also share tips to help you create food and fitness SOLUTIONS (instead of the typical, unrealistic resolutions many of us make year after year) in 2011. Have a question about feeding your infants and toddlers? You'll find my answers to some of them as I wear my new hat as a nutrition expert for Parents.com.
The Zied Guide™ will return on 1/10 with more nutrition and diet news you can use to help you eat and live better (and maximize your happiness, too!) in the new year and beyond. Be sure to make this first week of the brand new year a great one!
