and will be sharing some of the thoughts and ideas that people have.
Autumn Fair - Sept
Our new events team are are currently exploring the idea having an Autumn Show and Share in the second or third week of September. The plans are for a community event where local residents would be invited to show their home-made or home-grown passions, and prizes would be given for 'best in show' under a number of categories. We're thinking 'the biggest home-grown potato in Cheltenham", or "the best home-made Cheltenham pudding", and opportunities for children and young people to share their creative talents.
We're holding a brainstorming meeting for anyone who might want to get involved in organising it or have ideas about what we could show and share on Tues 15 May at 7.30pm at the Exmouth Arms. If you'd like to come please email vanessa@cheltenhamconnect.co.uk or just show up on the day!
Connect Business Day 2012 - Sept 27th The Connect Business Day that we ran last year was so popular that we are now planning the 2012 event and already have some very prestigious speakers lined up. This year we are holding the event in the Forum on Lansdown Road and we are currently taking expressions of interest from any South Cheltenham-based businesses that would like a stand.
