EVENTS

CodeAthon Contest
All term
Weekly meetings: Tuesdays, 3 to 6 p.m., University Crossings 149
Drexel's Math and Computer Science (MCS) Society is hosting its first ever CodeAthon. Come out and work with fellow students in teams to create mobile apps (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) focused on education. You can make apps to help students study, learn new material or any idea you have that can be applied to education. The CodeAthon will last all term and be judged by professors during the third week of spring term. The contest will focus on documentation as well as coding to give students the full experience on working on a software project in a less stressful environment surrounded by peers. Every Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. seniors Nate Vecchiarelli and Nate Fonseka will be available in University Crossings 149 to help teams plan and create their apps and documentation. Prizes available for the winning team.
