The Drexel Game Developers Group (DGDG) invites students to share and interesting and unique board games (more than just "Candyland" and "Monopoly"), as well as discuss paper game design. 
MCS Meeting: Hackathon

Drexel's Math and Computer Science Society (MCS) invites students to hack around with other MCS members! During this hackathon guests will be presented with projects to work on and problems to solve. Feel free to share original ideas and discuss them within the first 15 minutes of the meeting. For more information about MCS, click here.
Space Shuttle Atlantis Launch Party
Friday, July 8
11 a.m.
Bossone Research Center Lobby
NASA's final Space Shuttle Atlantis will lift off on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:40 a.m., commanded by Drexel mechanical engineering alumnus Christopher Ferguson, '84. To celebrate, Drexel will host a launch party for the University community. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. For more information, email [email protected].

Track Declarations
All CS students should declare their two tracks by pre-junior/junior year. We currently have 10 track options:

Algorithms & Data Structures (DS)

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Computer & Network Security (CNS)

Computer Architecture (CARC)

Computer Graphics & Vision (CGV)

Game Design & Development (GAME)

Human Computer Interaction (HCI)

Numeric and Symbolic Computation (NUM)

Computing Systems (OS) - changed from Operating Systems

Software Engineering (SE)

To officially declare your track (and have it on your transcript), you will need to fill out a change of curriculum form. Since there is no financial change, you will only need the advisor's signature before you drop it off to SRC (Main 222) to be processed. For more information about each track, click here. Drexel Farmers Market
Open every Tuesday and Friday
Drexel Business Services invites the Drexel Community to the new Drexel Farmers Market every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside of the Drexel Recreation Center. The market is also open every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside MacAlister Hall. Based out of Boyertown, Pa., Frecon Farms has been growing locally since 1944 and will bring seasonal goods to Drexel's campus for students, faculty, professional staff and the community.
