Advising Notes
CS/SE Freshmen/Sophomore Advisor: Undergrad Advising Center
CS/SE Upper Level Advisor: Andrea Negro
New Gaming Concentration Available
The CS department is now offering a Game Programming and Development Concentration as part of the Computer Science degree. (Note: A concentration is different than the tracks.) Students in the BSCS with the Game concentration will be required to take several DIGM courses in place of the General Education electives. The concentration also has two tracks (Game Design and Human Computer Interaction) built in to the curriculum. If you are interested in this option, please see our website (click here) for the course requirements and recommended plan of study. You will have to fill out a change of curriculum form to officially declare the concentration. Juniors - In order to complete this before you graduate next year, you will need to take DIGM 100 (Spring), DIGM 141 (Summer) and DIGM 211 (Fall). There are other courses you will need to take as well, but those are prerequisites of one another so they must be taken in those terms. Feel free to contact your assigned advisor if you have any questions. For additional advising information, click here. |
