The Math and Computer Science (MCS) Society will be hosting CS Professor Bill Mongan as he explains version control systems. He will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of two popular open source version controls systems, SVN and GIT, and give a live presentation of how to use them on TUX. Free food and beverage will be provided. |

Advising Notes
CS/SE Freshmen/Sophomore Advisor: Undergrad Advising Center
CS/SE Upper Level Advisor: Andrea Negro
Attention Pre-Juniors: As you enter your pre-junior year, you will start being advised by the Computer Science Department advisor, Andrea Negro. Each CS/SE student must meet with the advisor at least once throughout their undergraduate time here. You will be receiving an email shortly to schedule these mandatory meetings. If you are a junior or senior and have not met with Andrea yet, please email amn27@drexel.edu to set up a meeting as soon as possible. |

The Cyber Learning Center (CLC) provides consulting and other learning resources for students taking computer science classes. It's staffed by graduate and undergraduate students employed by the CS Department. Students can receive help during office hours (drop-in or by appointment). Services include review sessions for exams, small group study sessions, homework/lab help, and a mini-library.
Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 12 to 6 p.m. Consulting hours for the CS 121-122-123 courses are held on the odd weeks of the term, starting week 3, Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Opportunity: Department Lab Assistant and Grader
Lab assistant and grader positions are available for courses offered through the CS Department. Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.00 or above and possess people skills. These are paid positions.
