Road Map to Foote's Lost and Found

Articles of clothing and sundry other items students have misplaced are kept in a variety of spots throughout campus. Here is a roadmap of those locations; keep in mind that clothing may wander.

Lost and Found locations on the Foote campus:

  1. Large box in the hallway by Nursie's office
  2. Large box on the top floor of the Middle School building, halfway down the hall on the left
  3. Bench seats located directly inside the doors of both Hosley Gym locker rooms. Coats and sweatshirts are tossed in there, gender neutrally, after events, so remember to check both locker rooms.
  4. Above the cabinet in the lobby of the kindergarten building. Clothing left on the Lower School playground often may be found there.

A preventive note to parents:

If you mark your child's name clearly inside a garment, the chances of its returning home are greatly enhanced!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF FOOTE

Introducing the Banjo

jakebanjo

Fifth grade teacher Jake Burt brought his banjo to school recently for a hoedown in the Sandine Theater.

Jake talked a bit about how the instrument is played, its various components and the sounds it makes depending on finger play.

Students shared their knowledge of other instruments similar to the banjo. Jake then performed a few songs, much to the delight of his young audience.
