E-News from Foote Oct. 28

If going home between noon and 1:45 p.m. will be difficult for you, you are welcome to bring lunch and eat with your child at one of the picnic tables on campus. Parents of K-fourth grade students are responsible for their children from noon-1:45 p.m., and again after the parade.

Please note that the city prohibits parking on the residential side of Loomis Place.

A New Face at Foote's Front Desk

Ellen Kannatt, a past Foote parent, is helping us at the front desk for the next few months. Erika Villa, one of our front desk receptionists, is filling in for Registrar Becky McGuire, who is on maternity leave. Please welcome Ellen when you see her!

Please schedule your lower school conferences directly with your child's teacher.

Middle School Conferences

Thurs., Nov. 3 from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Fri., Nov. 4 from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Thurs., Nov. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Take the Foote School Survey

Foote parents were sent an important school survey via email this past week. The survey is completely anonymous.

Those who did not receive the survey may contact Curriculum Coordinator Beth Mello at 203-777-3464 ext. 288, and she will forward the survey to you.

Annual Book Fair is November 7-9

PTC Meets Nov. 2

The PTC's next meeting is Wed., Nov. 2. Cindy Lefell, a member of the Foote Board of Directors, will speak on the nominating and voting process for the Board.

The Foote School Association Inc., which includes all parents and guardians of children enrolled at Foote, will gather prior to the PTC meeting to elect three members to the Association Nominating Committee.

All are encouraged to attend at 3:15 p.m. in the Sturley Room.
