us beginning Tuesday as we sample the new 2008 Quinta Ferreira Unoaked
Chardonnay ($19.90). This clean crisp Chardonnay has peach, citrus, and apple
aromas followed by bursts of exotic fruit, melon, apple, lemon and pear on the
palate. From Jan 15 - Feb 15, Quinta Ferreira are going to donate 10% of all
their sales to the Haiti disaster fund. This is just another reason to enjoy
these very fine wines.

On that note, From Jan 15- Feb 15, 2010, Quinta Ferreira has set up a donation of 10% of their sales from their wines that we sell to be donated to the Haiti disaster fund.

Weekend Tasting!!
Pinot Noirs!!
"...complex aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, spice and flowers with hints of
orange zest and forest floor..."
"Join
us this weekend as we taste our way through some exciting new Pinot Noirs!
We will begin with the 2007 Kalala Organic Pinot
Noir ($18.95). This wine has nice black cherry, earthy and spicy aromas. It's lush
and soft on the palate, with silky fruit flavours nicely balanced by the
youthful tannins.
The 2006 D'Angelo Pinot Noir ($24.90) is next. Aged for 18 months in French and Hungarian Oak,
this Pinot Noir displays a medium garnet colour and has aromas of raspberry
and black pepper. The flavours suggest black cherry and spice and the wine has
a lingering finish.
The 2008 8th Generation Pinot Noir ($21.92) was
aged 12 month in French oak and is medium bodied and a light garnet red in
colour. The aromas and flavours are reminiscent of elderberry, dark cherry and
spice leading to a smooth finish.
Finally, the 2007 Robin Ridge Pinot Noir ($21.92)
from Keremeos, shows
complex aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, spice and flowers with hints of
orange zest and forest floor. A silky texture and balanced tannins run into a
long peppery, spicy finish.
