NorthSky Sponsors Session on Developing Personal Leadership Style for Nonprofit Leaders

March 1, 2012 --- TRAVERSE CITY, MI - NorthSky Nonprofit Network is sponsoring a session for nonprofit leaders on Thursday, March 15, from noon to 1:30 pm at Northwestern Michigan College University Center. The session, "Developing Your Personal Leadership Style", will explore leadership concepts and will address how each person can bring her/his talents to bear in climbing the leadership ladder - moving from leading by position to leading by personhood. At the end of this session, participants will be able to develop their personal criteria for excellence in leadership, discuss traits that are necessary in any leadership position and analyze factors that affect our ability to lead. The session is designed for beginning to advanced practitioners and board members and will be led by Lyn Jenks, Principal, Lyn Jenks Consulting.

The workshop fee is $12. Participants are invited to bring a lunch. Registration is required by contacting www.northskynonprofitnetwork.org or 231.929.3934.
