Session on Nonprofit Governance Scheduled for Manistee
MARCH 1, 2012--- TRAVERSE CITY, MI - NorthSky Nonprofit Network is sponsoring a session for nonprofit leaders, Board officers and Board members, on Tuesday, March 13, from 4 to 7 pm at the Manistee Intermediate School District Building, Conference Room B. The session, "Inspired Governance", will focus on how nonprofit governance is changing in order to address intensifying and complex social, legislative and economic demands. It will include how best practicing nonprofit boards are responding to and positioning for a changing environment, how exceptional boards transform their governance and advance their leadership practices. The session will also include a review of Board fiduciary roles and responsibilities. The workshop leader is Pamela Evans, NorthSky Governance Consultant.
