Please include Your Voice in Our Annual Needs Assessment

We've had over 80 responses to NorthSky's online needs assessment, far less than last year's 188. Without your voice, our study will not be nearly as useful or pertinent. So, please share your input and let us know your position, challenges and priority needs. The next twelve months represent a critical period for nonprofit organizations in Northern Michigan. It is more important than ever that data regarding the economic condition of the regional nonprofit sector be available as well as projections regarding nonprofit organization anticipated responses be captured and trends identified. This study is important in determining the challenges and needs of our regional nonprofit community.

We need a great response rate in order to have valid data to educate the public and involve them in addressing our needs. We've extended the deadline for completing the survey. Please share your valuable input here.

Feel free to contact me with questions at 231.929.3934, x 207 or via email. Thank you for your assistance!

Rotary Charities Logic Model Training

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

10 am to noon

Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce, Steelcase Conference Room

Trainer: Freya Bradford, NorthSky Evaluation Consultant

Fee: Free, registration required

This is a encore session. If you've already attended it, you don't need to attend it again.

All Rotary Charities' Program and Capacity Building grant applicants are now required to submit a logic model as a part of their application package that includes a Grantee Action Plan and a Grantee Evaluation Plan. This interactive work session will introduce the logic model and walk participants through the process of refining it. Any organization planning to apply for a Rotary program or capacity building grant should plan to attend. The forms and written guidance are posted on the Rotary Charities' website: www.rotarycharities.org. Please plan to bring drafts of your forms and application materials to fully participate in the session.
